It's not supposed to air until later this year, or perhaps even early 2008. It's supposedly going to be a taping of the touring production, which appears to be ending in March. There was also some talk that some of the original cast may be recreating their roles for the broadcast - so its hard to say. They could certainly do a special series of performances after the tour officially closes just to capture the video tape.
Interesting. It still has dates listed on Broadwayacrossamerica.com. I'm fairly positive it hasn't been taped for television yet. Is the tour going back out?
I always wanted to see this show but for some reason had no desire to pay 50+ bucks to see it.
"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."
There was an article posted in November about the tour's closing. The show's website lists no dates beyond January. Would love for it not to be so. Movin' Out Tour Ends Early

I actually hope it's the tour doing the taping. I've seen it four times and Holly Cruikshank is amazing. The last time I was on her website there were no dates for 2007.
I think they are doing a special performance just for the taping - this wouldn't be an extension of the tour. Apparently, because of union costs - its cheaper to end the tour - terminate contracts - and hire people specifically for the taping. It may also have some different casting, etc. Updated On: 2/3/07 at 10:14 PM
i hope they dont cancel the broadcast, because i never got a chance to see MOVIN' OUT live but would really like to see it on tv.
