I know people always like the Original Broadway cast but I do think that this Revival cast has the best talent of any other cast. The voices are so strong and everyone plays the parts so well and are so believable. What do you think?
Best cast ever? No.

Only someone who's seen every cast combination in the universe would be able to declare a best, and even then, it's coming out their arse.
yeah....not so much!
Best cast of Les Mis?
Not by a long shot. 10th anniversary with all its faults is leaps and bounds better. The only thing that I would have wanted was to have Anthony Warlow doing Enjorlas.
Not quite...

I've seen the show a good 3 or 4 times and I do have to say that the revival does have the best ensemble I've seen. Whenever the entire cast is on stage, the show just shines.
I disagree... the original london was far better...
Love Gemingiani - otherwise, probably not.
Not as long as Rubin-Vega is in the cast...
I agree with Bobbybuddy, As long as Daphne is in the cast it's not the best.
It's not even Daphne. Yes, she's very bad, but when I saw it Norm Lewis phoned it in, Gemignani was either overacting or staring into space (I will say though, never have I seen a performance of "Bring Him Home" resemble that of a gay love song), Cosette's voice was weak, Marius never acted-he always sang out to the audience, and Gary Beach was just going for the laughs instead of playing the truly despicable character that Thenardier is. The three best performances I felt were that of Celia Keenan-Bolger, Madame Thenardier (who gave the only pitch-perfect performance) and Cosette (depite my issues with her voice). The concert cast is far superior to this one.

Hardly the best. Not 1 stand-out performance in the bunch, making the show intolerable. Just bad.

Agreed.
Not even average.
Probably not the best cast, but a very good one. They should do a revival recording, being that the run has been extended.

THAT is hysterical. I won't even defend him because I haven't seen him, so I won't. But your post made me laugh.
This is one of those threads that I need to pretend I never read and enjoy this cast for the amazing group of people I think that it is...
Tenth anniversary cast was best. I love me some Lea Salonga.
AMEN raviolisun! AAAAAAA-MEN!
Here's to hoping they record the revival AFTER Daphne leaves to give me even more of some Lea!
This cast is very strong, yes, and Alex, Celia, Aaron, Gary & Jenny are giving GREAT performances, there ARE holes. With Lea coming in, it will make the overall feel that much better.
