So Jason and I were listening to SA again on the way to the train station and we were talking how great it would be to have rock stars do a concert of the songs.
So if you could pick any rock stars to do the songs, what would they be and which songs? Some of my choices
Totally F*CKed-Green Day Mama Who Bore Me-Gwen Stefani (she could do more than just this one) The Bitch of Living- Ben Folds Touch Me-REM
But shouldn't Green Day also sing The Bitch of Living?

ATTENTION FANS: I will be played by James Barbour in the upcoming musical, "BroadwayWorld: The Musical."
Ben Folds is awesome - Bitch of Living is RIGHT up his alley. Totally F*CKed would be good for Greenday - though I liked Barenaked Ladies for it better. I think Greenday would end up doing a ten minute "blah blah" arena chant...
TED LEO! I love them! I just saw them on thursday.
ted leo is a) really cute b ) extremley talented
"Picture "The View," with the wisecracking, sympathetic sweethearts of that ABC television show replaced by a panel of embittered, suffering or enraged Arab women" -the Times review of Black Eyed
Ted Leo & The Pharmacists are fantastic! And I definitely agree that Ted is quite cute :). I think he has the perfect rock voice - it really doesn't get on anyone's nerves.
I initially thought this had something to do with the TV show, Rock Star. I concur with the Fiona Apple stuff. I'd love to hear The Cranberries do Song of Purple Summer.
parislover, do you mean The Word of Your Body Reprise?
Ben Folds singing "Left Behind" and "Bitch of Living" would be great. After hearing him cover Dr. Dre's "Bitches Ain't SH*T" (check it out at www.myspace.com/benfolds, it's awesome) I'm thinking he can cover just about anything.
Ben Folds and Rufus Wainwright doing "The Word of Your Body (Reprise)" would be fantastic, actually. After their "Careless Whisper" cover, I'd listen to them sing any duet together.
