For those of us who won't be in the city this coming weekend, if anyone who is going to either of the 2 performances this coming Saturday June 30, 2007 -- can you take photos of the exterior of the Ethel Barrymore Theatre with all the film/production trucks outside, and all the goings on, etc.? I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd love to see the goings-on this Saturday with the tapings of the show.
I still have the photos I took as they were preparing the red carpet, etc. outside of the Plymouth Theatre getting it ready for TABOO's Opening Night several years ago, as well as the unloading of the set and lighting rigs, etc. outside of the Cort Theatre after the abrupt closing of BOBBI BOLAND.
I'm probably not seeing the show, but I may passing through the area to do some shopping. If I end up there, I'd be happy to take pictures. I'd kind of like some anyway.
hey, does anyone know when they're airing the taping of Company? i cannot find it anywhere - not on tvguide.com or pbs.com. are they just taping it and airing it at a later date cause i just assumed they were doing it like light in the piazza and airing it live.

Thanks, Emcee. I'm so glad this is actually happening. On Friday, one of the cameras was already set up behind me in the orchestra, and I nearly brained myself on it when I got up.

The choosing was not...

MarkRaskati, it was fabulous. I was there for the 2:00 PM show.
I've been nursing a broken heart for the past couple weeks, and to be honest I don't know that I should have subjected myself to "Being Alive." But I wouldn't have missed it for the world. I loved Raul's Bobby, I loved this production and am thankful I had the opportunity to see it.
I had no idea PBS would be filming this (can you tell I live on the Off Topic board?)! It was a great surprise and I was really excited to be there!
I saw the 2 o'clock show. It was fantastic. However, it was a mad house trying to get inside the theatre. Because of the trucks it made it very cramped and the show started about 15 minutes late.
But Raul was to die for. I cannot wait until this is aired! =]
I was at the matinee too. God it was really an amazing show. It makes me so sad that shows like this don't have a longer lifespan but crap like Mamma Mia! and such play for years. Everyone in the cast was pitch perfect. Raul is such an amazing versatile performer. This is the third show I've seen him in (Rocky Horror & The Normal Heart being the other 2) and he just gets better. He was SO robbed at the Tonys. I just can't see David Hyde Pierce being better. I wish I wouldn't have waited so long to see this, I would have liked to have seen it again...but I guess that's what PBS is for.
