I want to see both, but I flipped a coin for you and got The Color Purple :)
THE COLOR PURPLE
Unless you like low brow, white bred, stereotype inducing, commercialism promoting theatre.
If that's the case, see LEGALLY BLONDE.
skip mary poppins and see the color purple and legally blonde.
From what I've heard Fantasia is something to see in The Color Purple, probably worth seeing. Although she did just extend (so you may or may not get another chance to see her), but who knows how long Legally Blond will last...

He/she already has tickets for Mary Poppins. I say Color Purple as well.
Color Purple.
You got tix in advance for Forbidden Broadway? It's always on TKTS. You could of gotten 1/2 off...
Personally, I'd say A Chorus Line instead of either of the two, but if I had to pick, I'd say Legally Blonde, mostly because I don't really like the score for The Color Purple that much.

A Chorus Line.
Row C, seats 10-12 are definitely full view in the New Amsterdam.

I personally didn't like the Color Purple all that much, mostly because I thought the score was a bit boring.
However, I went in expecting to think Legally Blonde was the dumbest thing I'd ever seen, and it was, in an absolutely HYSTERICAL way. I'd say see that. Unless you're already a fan of Fantasia; then it might be worth seeing her.
skip mary poppins and see the color purple and legally blonde.
I totally thought the same thing!

Enjoy the show; most likely you'll have fun. I haven't yet seen The Color Purple, but Legally Blonde makes me smile.
Also, your sig is sad.

Why did you even bother asking if you bought tickets to Legally Blonde, even though the majority of people recommended The Color Purple?
What a horrible mistake that was....
I hate to do this...
but I totally understand why people do now.
Tell us. Why do people do it if they're not going to follow what the people in the thread that they started suggest?
And why do people do this when there are HUNDREDS of threads with the same d*mn suggestions???
