Did you see the movie Hairspray yet? If so, what did you think?
Rosie:
i did
i expected more
Sad, I actually liked this one a lot. Some of the past movie musicals weren't as good as they could have been. I was more impressed then I thought I'd be.
I loved the movie to death, but I partially agree with Rosie as well.
I've seen Hairspray twice this weekend. It is as perfect a musical movie as possible. It thrives where Chicago, Phantom, Rent, Producers (though I'm in a small minority that enjoyed producers) and to a less extent, Dreamgirls failed. It was so refreshing to see a musical movie that was proud of the fact that it was a musical!
Rosie is just piissed off that she didnt get the part of Edna...
C'mon guys.. Let's leave ROSIE alone. She's entitled to her own opinion !
I the movie but I still
Rosie> (its her opinion , besides she just posted few words-we really dont know what she really meant) if she wont like XANADU.. I would still
her... its her opinion and I respect it.
BTW- Rosie- Why have you not answer my XANADU question on your blog ? well I have not had a chance to read her blog again too many postings... and some people asked her the most ridicilous and most offensive question.. I feel sorry for her answering all those offensive questions...

I just posted her response to a question and said I disagree with her, I love her, and didn't say anything negative about her. What are you talking about Jay?
Nick- I was not referring to you its for everyone... you know how this thread goes.. one person jumps and another one follow ...

I agree with rosie. It was a mess.
I don't see how it was a mess, could you elaborate?

I just find it funny that Rosie's opinion of anything makes news over here, getting it's own thread and everything. I know she's a big fan of Broadway and is famous and all, but so what? We don't have threads here about what about what anyone else thinks about any given show, so why Rosie?

What I can't stand about Rosie is that she doesn't elaborate on her blog entries.
That and she doesn't know how to spell...or even attempt to.
I understand she has an opinion--but she needs to give some reasons for why she has that opinion.

LOL...ljay889
Why should anyone give a sh*t what she thinks? She's hardly any sort of authority on anything.
She was one of the biggest mainstream B'way supporters over the years on both her own show & The View. She is known around the world as a HUGE B'way fan -- and whether you like it or not, she has a lot of people's ears... She's certainly not trashing the show, merely answering someone's simple question on her blog.
I suppose you think more people care about the opinion of a bunch of teenage b'way wannabes?
Rosie is probably the worst singer I have ever heard and I did Summer Stock with little kids.
At least she liked GYPSY

Of course Rosie loved Gypsy. Diva bitches stick together.
Of course she did not like HAIRSPRAY .. her Harvey was left out.
Well, at least her kids liked it.

I will see it again and again!
Did your kids like it?
Rosie:
they did
It's funny because I finally AGREE with her! =)
My personal opinion is that I'm tired of hearing about her opinions.

Not a lot to contribute to this thread except but...why can't she write in complete sentences? Is that her gimmick????

She thinks it is poetry/art. But like her crafts it is just crap glued to other crap.
