Be sure to check out the ad for "Shrek" in today's "New York Times." VERY clever.
I can't wait for people to start bashing "Shrek" now in this thread.
I'm excited for it. I'm so happy Haven is in it
Us stupid middle americans would appriciate a scan if someone can provide one.
dude, dont start a thread if you dont have the scanned ad!

Could someone please scan the ad for the rest of us please.
Scan or digital picture please???
Adding my request for a scan, please.
I won't get the paper untill tomorrow. Scanned pic, anyone?
A scanned pic really won't work. You need to read the ad closely to enjoy it.
How about a scan so we can see it, and a detailed description of what to enjoy about it? This kinda thread is kinda irksome. :P
If it is irksome, why not go to a local store and pony up the $2 for a paper? Anyway...
SPOILER
It's a page of the NY Times theatre directory ABC's, but made up of dozens of fake show titles all related to fairy tale and nursery rhyme characters. Like a musical called "Hey, Diddle!" starring Cat, Fiddle, Cow, Moon, Dish, Spoon and The Little Dog. All of the directory info leads you back to Shrek The Musical. There's an ad for Shrek directly in the middle, outlined in green, and a silhouette of Shrek and Donkey over the listings.
thanks Smaxie. I'd love to get my hands on a paper but I don't see it happening today :[
Does anyone know if this ad is in the National Edition?

First up, my local shops only accept sterling, none of your "dollars" malarkey. Second up, my local shops only sell British papers. How exactly am I meant to skip merrily out and pick up a New York Times from a suburban England hole?
Thank you Smaxie. I didn't realize that the "New York Times" was so obscure and people so lazy that they couldn't find a copy of it ... even in New York! (With apologies to Weez and others in foreign countries.)
Not Barker, yes it is in the national edition. I am in Dallas.
Thank you Smaxie for the description, and thank you the.hard.part for the pictures. ^_^
Does anyone know who is starring in STEEDMUFFIN? I haven't read about that show yet.
Thanks!
