ATTENTION FANS: I will be played by James Barbour in the upcoming musical, "BroadwayWorld: The Musical."
I dont want to create a panic here at BWW! but I think this is the Revival Artwork:
with a guy wearing a white polo shirt looking at the wall graffiti of Godspell. i will find it and post it. I saw it somewhere, cant remember the site!
You mean the the one in my avatar? I personally love that they're using the original artwork. Maybe the show will be directed/designed like the original. If so, I'd be more than excited.
Gosh, I hope thats not the artwork. They seem to always have that same picture on the playbill whenevener I go see Godspell and believe me I have seen this show more times then I care to admit. LOL. Although I did like the artwork PaperMill used even though it did have the original artwork on top and since the show is coming to broadway somewhat based on the PaperMill Production from what I have heard maybe they could use that one. Im trying to attach the picture to this post we'll see how that goes...lol.
Edit: Hey it worked!!! :)

Yeah, based on their website~it looks like brick wall with Godspell Artwork Graffiti will be the artwork? Its up now...you can only order tixs~that's it!~ j*
I'm glad the producers decided to go with an entirely new and modern advertising campaign instead of just exhuming the stale old Byrd design from the original.
I personally think its a great concept. it may not be original but I love how there's a Jesus or Man figure dressed in blue jeans with white polo shirt and a vest looking at the OLD Artwork of Godspell. It evokes the concept of a "revival" or more likely THE LOOK of revisiting the 70's musical.
Can't wait for this revival, and hopefully a cast recording of this wonderful cast!

Taz? You really think it is stale? I wonder what you think of artists like Peter Max and the like... You must think Warhol is a snooze fest.
"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."
