"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Oh Lord! I dont know if its just me! You know..I grow up in the 80's and 90's and variety show is a thing in the past then... I am a big fan of Rosie, but I must say.. I am soo BORED with the show! I was expecting something like a variety show from Spanish Channel like Sabado Gigante.
Who put this thing together? I'm shocked. I feel like I am at the Upfronts. Bored, underwhelmed and ready to go home. I really thought this was gonna be great.
I thought Jane was great. Nancy Grace/Kathy Griffin was okay. But the rest hasn't impressed me much. I was hoping for more bits from Broadway shows, but I guess that's hard on a Wednesday night. If this gets picked up, maybe she should try for a Monday night slot.
I just got home from the gym at 8pm ..so I am watching this late..just finish the Clay Aiken Part.....
Wow. The writting is bad!
B-O-R-I-N-G !
what a train wreck! I feel bad for Rosie because I really like her but that show was boring, uninspired and totally disaster! The tap dancing part with the kids is soo bad!
I think after tonight, IF it gets picked up, it'll probably be pre-taped so artist can come in and film their bits and NOT have to be all at one place at one time. Like shows that a dark on Mondays can come film their bits.
EDITED TO ADD: I like Alanis's new song.
