Awesome grosses! I think Guys & Dolls will be around for a while.
minus SOML, those are some pretty awesome grosses!!
oh you can see why the pulled the plug on Story Of My Life
Wow, looks excellent for most of them! Happy to see Shrek and South Pacific back up again. And almost 95% for Phantom!
Wow, SOML. The decision may be for the best. I'm not sure what I would have done if the grosses for next week wound up being 50k.
GREAT news for Shrek as well as other bumps.
August: Osage....come on! pick up!
I wonder what it must feel like to perform for audiences where there is like 10 rows filled with people. Story of my Life was bound to end sometime soon.. It's just too bad that it didn't make it. As for the Disney shows, I can't believe Mary Poppins beat the Little Mermaid.. I'm not a big fan of the show and thought it was a bore when I saw it compared to The Little Mermaid (I love it so much I've seen it 4 times and going again for my 5th May 2)
SOML had awful grosses, yes, but it never played to empty houses. More than half of the theater was comped each night. I think 90% of the audience at the final performance was comped. So thankfully, Will and Malcolm never had to play to "10 rows filled with people."

congrats on the impressive numbers, Phantom!
Wonderful numbers! What a great week!
Last week was a holiday week ... schools were closed, and tourists were in town, which explains the significant jumps, especially for the "family shows".
4 shows at 100% or higher! :)
Haha, figures, the one week I go to New York City, Wicked goes back to 100%. No wonder extra tickets were non existent! haha.

I'm so glad to see this and I so hope it's not just temporary.....vacation week visitors.
All I can say it was a wonderful week and can not expect better. Next week West Side Story will be added to the grosses. The only show not on the gross chart is Distracted. What a great week.
I find 33 Variations' gross a bit surprising. I guess Fonda isn't as much of a draw as anticipated. Hopefully the reviews can carry it.
Pretty good week.

How can shows sell over 100%? Do ppl not know math!!LOL
Shhhhh..... the adults are talking.
its called Standing Room.
The only show not on the gross chart is Distracted.
DISTRACTED is Off-Broadway.
sorry i thought it was on broadway since it is part of the roundabout theatre. forgive me for that mistake.
no worries, colleges/universities start their spring break soon.
Unfortunately most of those will try for student rush or other discounted tickets. It'll be interesting to watch for any changes in the average ticket cost.
