Here is a wild card - MSNBC is reporting the Clinton is vetting James Stavridis, a retired Navy admiral, for the VP slot.

One of the most vocal Anti-Hillary Pro-Bernie's on my Facebook feed just posted this. I can understand that they're upset, but the refusal to acknowledge his campaign is over seems to me to be delusional.
They just love to be let down, don't they?
Best outraged comment I've seen so far: "I want my revolution money back!"
I want my revolution money back, the best.
Newt Gingrich is no longer a Fox 'News' contributor. Is a VP announcement imminent?
Makes sense, to the Trump mind. He will think a Trump/Gingrich ticket is unbeatable while, in reality, it's an even bigger joke.
Is it wrong that I'm loving the fury and rage among the Bernie Bros?
A Trump/Gringrich ticket would have a combined 4 divorces and 6 marriages. That would be a record, right?

Yes, you should be sending them a pacifier. Us. Me. Instead you revel in our pain.
Exactly and a change of diaper.
"sending them a pacifier."
That's not how it works. I don't remember the Obama supporters sending Hillary supporters a pacifier in 2008.
You nurse your wounds yourself, and you rally behind the candidate.
That's how it works.
Very nice joint appearance by Bernie + Hillary.
So, Elizabeth Warren is speaking on the first night of the DNC, which apparently mean it all but certain she won't be Veep. But, I think all sensible people knew that.

Yeah, we knew it, but we still had hope. A Warren VP slot would have injected a jolt of caffeine into a campaign that seems a little tired.
For those interested in what could possibly go wrong for Trump at the Republican convention next week, this is a link to a free download of UNBOUND, the 128-page book that is the bible of the #nevertrump movement.

Further to that end, an unbound delegate in Arizona who was recently "fired" is accusing party officials of doing so because he had stated a refusal to vote for Donald Trump; something he is more than allowed to do. Ah, democracy... Don't ya love it?
Looks like other Dem VP frontrunners have also been given speaking slots, so maybe Warren is still in the mix?
I keep telling people not to believe anyone's predictions about these primaries or the convention, because this is the most unpredictable election in history.
I think it was WHEN Warren is scheduled to speak that made people think she's not going to be the VP choice.

"
Agreed.
Does anyone know if the Sanders' backing includes access to contributors' contact information?
Both Warren and Clinton's people said Warren's current speaking slot is not indicative of her being out of consideration. If Clinton decides to go with her, they'll just adjust the speaking schedule accordingly.
The new polls, as expected, show a much tightened race. These were the first polls since the FBI report. Nationally she leads by only 3, but is down in a couple of important battleground states.
Not that these mean much, as Trump will get another bounce from his convention next week, followed by a bounce for Clinton the following week.

If they don't "mean much," why even worry about them? Unless they do...
A tighter race is a win-win situation for the mainstream media.
