N.Y. Rep. Chris Lee resigns after Craigslist personals scandal
Washington (CNN) - CNN's Dana Bash reports that Rep. Christopher Lee – a New York Republican – has resigned after reports surfaced that the married congressman was trying to meet women on Craigslist, according to a GOP source with direct knowledge of the matter.
Another one down.

Do we need to say he's a staunch defender of marriage and traditional values?

Where would the world be without politically alert gay guys pretending to be women on Craigslist?
Mirror shot.
Flex those guns big boy!
I bet Fox will but a (D)after his name for the next week then claim it was an oversite. The images below have NOT been photoshopped. They are actual screen caps from actual news casts.I've said it before and I'll say it again. ANYONE who watches Fox News is an idiot!
"I'm DEAD sexay!"
He's very handsome. Too bad his politics makes him a toad after all.
If a public figure is stupid enough to put their face on Craigslist, they deserve to be caught.
Here's the complete GAWKER story. When will you guys EVER learn? You'd a thunk after TIGER,,,, but nooooooooooooooo. LoL!

My only surprise in this story is that he was soliciting women!
Goodness, he used the email that was the same he has on his Facebook page. And include his headshot (that's a rarity even on Craigslist). So dumb.
And he thought he could pass for 39?!
I'm laughing my ass off.
I have one word
SPITZER
He was a bit of an idiot for posting it on craigslist . On that we agree.
Here's the irony: he described himself as a divorced lobbyist, and pretty soon, that's probably exactly what he'll be.

I bet Fox won't make a big deal out of this at all! Seems like every time I'm channel surfing and I briefly go to Fox, they are always talking about Sarah Palin! Geesh!

Liberals take note: he did the right thing and stepped down. Unlike people like Bill Clinton, John Edwards, etc.
A couple of things: first, I'm not sure why he stepped down. What he did was awful, but it was a personal offense to his family, having nothing to do with his work. Second, if you're citing folks who should have stepped down, the best example is John Ensign, senator from Nevada. A married man, he had an affair with a married staffer, then paid off her family to keep it quiet. And he's running for re-election.

Name all the Republicans you want, but nobody's private life touches those of liberals.
Clinton - several allegations of adultery, followed by having to hear the most disgusting details of the Lewinsky business
Edwards - wife is dying of cancer while he's getting a woman pregnant and then denying it all and possibly using campaign funds to cover it all up
Barney Frank - running a gay prostitution business out of his basement
Kennedys - can't even go there. Ted had so many women claiming rape, not to mention the one he left drowning in his car.

It's not a competition. I know that's hard for Roxy and Goth to grasp.
I know facts are troublesome for Goth, but Edwards left the Senate in January of 2005, and by all acounts his extramarital affair did not begin until 2006. So, stepping down was never an option for him.

I know facts are troublesome for madbrian, but Edwards suspended his POTUS campaign in Jan 2008. Rielle Hunter gave birth in February 2008.
Remember Goth the Republicans are the party of "family values," we Dems. can cheat all we want.
