Just block this trash. He's proven that there's no use engaging.

I point out the singling out. And say it is wrong.
Kad, that works for me. At first I thought he or she was simply naive.

Ok this is getting so crazy that you are scaring me. First, I love many black people, not because they are black, just because I love everything else about that particular person. I love Whitney because of her personality and singing voice, I love Oprah because she was a wonderful talkshow host, I cheered when Obama became president because I love his character and attitude and out of Grease live, I love Keke the most because I loved her stage and screen presence and talent.
So go wash your mouth.
And yes, those list of organizations is sad. There are plenty of Latina contestants in the regular Miss USA. So you either go for it and take the challenge, or you feel too insecure to participate in the real world and create your own little separate world. And when you win because of the specially created awards for you, please don't pull race in it and don't be proud, because winning isn't cool if all other races are per definition excluded from participation.

Blocking equals autism. Creating your own little world to not have to participate in the real world.
Basically the same problem as described above.

Here's the problem with deliberate a-holes with long histories of trollish behavior on the BWW. If you don't give them push back, which in the case of Dave takes me about 45 seconds per post, and you block them, then after a while they get no response at all except from new people who haven't experienced what they're doing and have no sense of the history and how the person is now going to use them.
I think it's worth nipping them in the bud.

Push whatever you want. Increase the race gap as much as you want. See how it works out for you and be happy with it.
Bye.

Things get better when people have honest discussions about race.
Things stay status quo when people say discussing the problem IS the problem.
THOSE people are wrong.
[28 seconds]
But this is clearly not an honest discussion.

There is nothing wrong with discussing the problem. It is a great thing.
That's what we are doing here.
It's just important you realize what keeps the problem alive.

One rule of nature is "If you don't think in solutions, you are part of the problem".
So, it looks like next year the voting body for the Oscars will be completely diverse. Which is fine, nothing to complain about, as long as the reason is not that you hope every race is going to vote for itself.
So, it looks like the black reel awards are then completely unnecessary. In fact, I say they are quite racist anyway, but especially when there is a diverse voting body in the mainstream awards.
Now, you are working for equality for many years now, as you say, so what can we expect from your protest against such awards next year? I'm just curious.

"Blocking equals autism."
This comment is so disgusting.
Dave, by not recognizing race, and thinking you're so wonderful that way, you are denying every non white person their heritage. Every single one of those people would dislike you intensely for it, if they knew. So keep on hiding your racism.

Did you even read? This is not about not recognizing race. But about embracing it instead of secluding it. By complaining that a certain race is not in something, you are actually secluding it.

That's actually NOT a rule of nature.

We are nature. Though that might be difficult for you to comprehend.
So what about your protest? You didn't answer my question.

The ones I could stomach, yeah. I lost count of how many times you said you don't see race.

That LITERALLY makes no sense and it has been what you have been basing your whole argument on. It's fallacious. Look that word up.

The fact that you don't understand it doesn't mean it makes no sense.

I understand it perfectly. And I understand you are wrong.
I can only imagine this news is disastrous to you:
"Ryan Murphy Commits to Hiring More Directors Who Aren’t Straight White Guys"
...[B]y the end of this year, Murphy has committed to filling 50 percent of the director slots on his shows with candidates who are women, racial minorities, or members of the LBGT community.

Seems like ALL SORTS OF CREATIVES are taking historic actions to increase diversity.
You've lost, Dave.

And I understand that you don't have an answer on my question about the black reel awards once the Oscar voting body is diverse?
I thought so. There comes your double agenda peeking around the corner.
