I would've soaked in a tub for an hour or so and then showered for an additional hour.

How can anyone live like that? I don't mean that in a judgmental way; I really wonder what happened to a person to make them live like that.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

So far we haven't had anyone too crazy in my complex. A few less than ideal candidates but the guy who covered every window with aluminum foil to stop being spied on by the government moved.

He moved? Or is that what they told you? Are you sure the government didn't take him away?

It just strange to me that they all picked the units in the front of the building, with big windows. They could have chosen any of the other units that are in the back, and more private.

And, after having another tenant who was a hoarder, and she passed away, leaving me to clean up the mess. I don't want to get stuck doing that again.

I tell people when they move in that this is now their home. If there are ANY problems, our maintenance man is right on the ball and fixes everything. So, why is it that the tenants don't report problems unless it turns into something HUGE?!

Ug, I'm going to go see a movie...

Ooh, a movie... in air conditioned comfort. Sounds very, very nice, Diva! We're headed for 111 degrees, today.

No hoarders in our building. Just people above us who are gutting their apartment. The noise and frequency of the drilling is rather annoying. They seem to have been at this renovation kick for months and months.

So, all in all a movie sounds pretty nifty.

Boobs, I'll send the warm stuff right over.

Glad you stayed out of mischief, Diva.

There are people singing in the street. The sound is carrying up. The song is "Hot Stuff". Yep, they're not kidding. It just passed 108. Blah!!!

My car was covered in snow this morning, so 108 is not sounding all that bad, Hep.

Mornin'

Hep, while my kitchen renovation is nearly done, the apartment directly beneath ours is doing a gut renovation of the entire flat, scheduled to continue into March. *sigh*

So much I need to renovate, but every day I look at the bank account and see yet another tuition or fee deduction. All is good though. C15 now weighs about 175. He is nearly 6' and has shoulders that make me look like a little girl. He is weight lifting for football now three days a week. Intense football program.

Happy Thursday - slow docket this week so catching up on paperwork.

Happy Thursday.

Diva - oh yikes! Sorry I missed the conversation yesterday, but glad you were able to escape for a few hours.

Hep - stay cool! Are you enjoying the tennis?

My upstairs neighbors and my next-door neighbors are both renovating. I had to put a towel down at the base of my front door when I was leaving this morning because the dust that gets in from next door was coating my hall floor.
I can't really complain, though...
Except, the strong glue and paint fumes were giving me a headache. I had to keep some windows open all night. Brrr.

Deet, you must be glad to be (almost) done!
I'm making an appointment with them to come back to fix some things that haven't settled well. I wonder if it's ever really done?

Have been on the phone with doctors all morning. This is my new normal.

You, hope your mom is able to get home soon. Sending hugs!

Snow? No thanks.

Hi Dottie - yes! It's about my Mom, who was in the hospital yesterday.
I'm fine. (Tired, but fine!). But, going through some medical concerns with Mom.
Thanks so much for asking. xo

Addy, she may get discharged today or tomorrow, and then start the regimen. I think she will do far better at home than in the hospital.

Thinking good thoughts for your mom. Rough start to the year for some of us.

Work has been great though. It reminds me why I stick around even with all of the shenanigans.

YWIW - that's great news! It will be so much more comfortable for her to be home. Thinking good thoughts for your mom. Let's get this year back on track!

Glad work has been great. I have to admit that I have total support, as well. It makes a big difference. We're very fortunate.

My primary law partner are total opposites in politics, etc., but get along very well and he is very understanding as am I, for family issues that are bumps in the road. Two of our children are the same age so in that respect we have a lot in common.
