It's your lucky number! Any special b-day plans?
yeah, insomnia sucks. But then again, I have been out and about much later than normal, so while July was a very good month to me in a lot of ways, I kinda shocked the system a lot, lol. oh well.
I'm WFH today since I have a wedding to go this afternoon. Should be good times. Throat is sore and nose is runny though. I've been chewing down Zicam like candy.
I like 8/08. That's when the trio is all the same age.
Tink -- rest as much as you can.
I'm taking another workshop with the instructor I LOVE -- revising BBQ. I've ripped it apart and slowly rebuilding it. Very exciting. Very energizing. Very tedious.
You're writing Max in, aren't you? Fess up.
No.
He's in GODDESS OF THE HUNT.
Are you writing in insane person putting objects in your freezer?
You mean WINDEX, THE MUSICAL, Boobs?

LOL!! Good one.
Moony, middle of the work week birthday...prob nada. A friend was going to take me out last night, but her brother conveniently forgot he was supposed to take care of their failing fast elderly parents, and threw a fit because his soon to be married princess daughter requested delivery of her tv to the new apartment, and he had to bring it to her.

Apparently, I only do drive by postings of joy and sorrow, but I felt the need to share this.
My brother's obituary was posted today. I was worried about how they would post it and if my wife would even be mentioned. It says, "Survived by his sister, Amber (Camilla) LXXx, just as they would list any other married couple. I can't tell you how much it meant to me.
JG2, first, I'm beyond thrilled for you with your joyous news, and hope that this life blessing will help you find some comfort during this sad time.
I saw the obit posted on FB this morning. And smiled when I saw the way your names were listed. Knowing the recent advancement with your Dad, and being able to have this 'formalized' in the obituary must mean the world to you.
Your brother will remain a great life force in your life because he has been part of all that has been important to you recently.
And you know that your little bundle of joy will have his/her own guardian angel.
Big hugs. This is a tremendously difficult time, and the hardest days are yet to come. Remember we're here for you. Reach out... always.
I found out that Daddy said, "Well, I guess now is as good a time as any for me to come out, too." lol
Thank you so much for your kind words. It's a very weird place to be with so much joy and unexpected sadness. We'll get through it, though.
Don't you think someone should have told Michael about tucking?
That should work!
Safe travels, Amber. XO
G'morning.
That was some wild rain that came through last night. Still too much humidity, but the weather guy promises it will get better through the day. This summer has been relentless...
Wishing everyone a good day.
Today would have been Mom and Dad's Anniversary. Not an easy day. Mom is with my sister for the week, so I'm glad she'll have company and a change of scene. I'll join them Friday morning for the weekend and Mom's birthday. Tough month.
Wishing everyone a good day and a great, fun week!
Morning peeps! That was some storm last night. I love them as long as I don't lose power The humidity is ridiculous. The car windows kept fogging because of it!
Morning!!
When we were nearing the exit for my bus stop, I could see the angry sky off in the distance, and I was keeping my fingers crossed it would hold off for a bit. I managed to get home, in the house, jump in the shower to get rid of the slimy, summer in the city ick, and then the sky opened up and the angels started bowling. I just made it!
All the storms we've had so far this summer, the hurricane last year, and I didn't lose power once. It went out for a couple minutes last night, just as I started to warm up some dinner. Luckily, it was short.
