The Carol Burnett Show
Did you do the skits on Carol, doodle? I remember re-enacting "Went With the Wind" with my brother--he was great as Vicki--and we used to the Queen of England scenes too...
No, dogs...but my sister and cousins and I did lip sync to "The Partridge Family" and perform for the adults at Tgiving and Easter...
...I, of course, was Laurie.
I was the only Carol junkie in my family. My mom didnt even like the show...which still makes NO sense to me.
Little House on the Prairie...watched it every week with my grandmother...nice memories....
In my previous post I stupidly forgot to mention Dark Shadows.
Tale Spin
Rescue Rangers
Duck Tales
I Dream of Jeannie
What gay kid DIDN'T like it?
THAT'S where I got the whole "Yes, Master" thing!
But I fell in love with her during HARPER VALLEY PTA and when she was the manicurist on ANDY GRIFFITH.
I was a total TV junkie as a kid, which probably explains why I barely watch it anymore.

Oh, Best, I had totally forgotten about The Night Stalker. I loved that when I was in junior high.
You missed "Nanny and the Professor" twelvy!
I actually hated "I Dream of Jeannie"...of all the junk I watched as a kid, those plots were just too dumb for me...and I didnt think Larry Hagman was cute. at. all...
and twelvy...I LOVED Underdog!
Oh, and "Courtship of Eddie's Father"
and "Love, American Style"
You forgot I MARRIED JOAN best...hee hee...and LOVE THAT BOB!
I really did watch those back in the day--the Christian Channel (I don't know what it's called now) aired both those, LIFE OF RILEY, YOU BET YOUR LIFE and BURNS AND ALLEN (my fave)...but alas, no more.
When I'm home one of the Jesus channels airs the Loretta Young show...that's fun.
Oh my God, Nitsua. I, too, loved CAPTAIN PLANET as a kid. I had a crush on the American guy, I believe his name was Richard.
Some other favorites:
BEWITCHED (in re-runs, I wanted to be Samantha so badly)
I DREAM OF JENNIE (though the episodes with the mean sister always scared me)
FULL HOUSE (I was Michelle's age but wanted to be DJ)
Lildogs, I remember watching those at night on the Christian channel or whatever it was called.
lildogs--I loved "I Married Joan" and "Love That Bob!" which aired late night in syndication! Forgot those.
And doodle---definitely "Love, American Style," "Nanny & the Professor" (I adored that theme song!) and "Courtship of Eddie's Father."
Jesus, I really did watch a lot of TV back then. Too much, but what the hell.
It made me the freaky-crazy man I am today!

I wanted to be Dr. Blight. I LOVED her hair.
DONNIE & MARIE
This is easy. The Hardy Boys mysteries. I was madly in love with Parker Stevenson. He is still a stunning man.
I also watched Baywatch to see him run in a bathing suit.

PS I was also obsessed about Little House and The Facts Of Life.
George Clooney was so cute on that show.
