Men who hit their wives or girlfriends are absolute scum. I have seen abuse like this go down and it is never ever justified.

I'm not sure what the laws are where she was at the time, but that isn't going to matter. Courts will look at the physical evidence. They likely won't delve much into the "He said" "She said" side of it. I think in some places the woman would have to press charges, but in many places when there is physical evidence of this type, the state presses charges and it is taken out of the hands of either participant. That is, a process unfolds regardless of what the woman or man wish, regardless of what they say.

Unlike you, I'm not so quick to invalidate the thoughts of others. Somehow that doesn't exactly map well with your liberal bent. This is not the first time you're launched a personal attack against me in this forum. I'm thick-skinned though and simply chuckle at most of your predictable reactions.

Insulting someone for their ridiculous opinion is not the same as suppressing free speech. It's a part of free speech, sorry to say. So don't try and play the victim when you're so intent on discrediting an actual form of victimization.
