Javero-I don't loath you, we're having a debate on a message board. I just have an entirely different point of view on this topic, and I hope there aren't too many people who share yours.

Jane, many people do share that view- luckily most of them are in prison.
Even if she hit him first (which is purely speculation at this point), he's not the one who looks like he was used as a punching bag, so it clearly was not a fair fight, nor was his violent reaction in any degree equivalent to what hers may have at first been.
fair fight? are you kidding me? do you think that marquis of queensbury rules apply in life? that's the stupidest thing that's been said in this thread - not the worst, but definitely the stupidest.
His reaction, provoked or unprovoked, was CRIMINAL.
Javero, you can personally relate to this. Are you feeling guilty that you didn't stop what was happening, so now you are making excuses for everybody?
I'm sorry, what I was trying to say was that his reaction, if he was hit first, was clearly more violent than necessary, as she looks awful, and he has merely a scrape, if that. I wasn't trying to suggest that it should have been a fair fight.
Men who hit their wives or girlfriends are absolute scum. I have seen abuse like this go down and it is never ever justified.
I hope Chris Brown will get sent to prison where he belongs.

Joe--since you are once more all up in my grill, answer me this. Does that list of people include the youngsters you cited in your earlier post?

"Yes, if she struck first, then his reaction was provoked."
I'm not sure what the laws are where she was at the time, but that isn't going to matter. Courts will look at the physical evidence. They likely won't delve much into the "He said" "She said" side of it. I think in some places the woman would have to press charges, but in many places when there is physical evidence of this type, the state presses charges and it is taken out of the hands of either participant. That is, a process unfolds regardless of what the woman or man wish, regardless of what they say.

Unlike you, I'm not so quick to invalidate the thoughts of others. Somehow that doesn't exactly map well with your liberal bent. This is not the first time you're launched a personal attack against me in this forum. I'm thick-skinned though and simply chuckle at most of your predictable reactions.
Those kids are the future leaders of this great nation. And let me remind you that Chris Brown himself is but 2 years out of high school.
I tell you what. Why don't you PM me your mailing address so that I can send you a quarter to buy some business of your own. Chris and Rihanna's respective lawyers will tend to theirs.
Just tryna keep it juvenile player.
So, thinking that men shouldn't hit women = "liberal"?

Never wrote, inferred or intimated that. The suppression of free speech by intimidation sure as hell ain't liberal, that's for sure.
I've been known to file the occasional minority report on here, no pun intended. But I've never resorted to insulting other posters simply because they took a different tack, except PJ once because he had it coming

Insulting someone for their ridiculous opinion is not the same as suppressing free speech. It's a part of free speech, sorry to say. So don't try and play the victim when you're so intent on discrediting an actual form of victimization.

OK Jav, enjoy your woman beating justification. I hope it works well for you. Better?
Sheesh.
I don't get it. Aren't these people RICH? Rich people just don't act this way. This story can't be true.
sue, you shut that trap or i will slap you so hard you'll see bushes.
"sue, you shut that trap or i will slap you so hard you'll see bushes."
Because you were brought up that way!
