Please remember that you academics subjects are vital to your future. Today's world is tough and competive in the job market. While studying hard, it is also important to remember to get proper exercise for your body. This can be achieved through participation in sports at your school. If you are unable to engage in sports at school, at least be an atheletic supporter. This has been a public service announcement from Yenta.
why thank you Yenta... that was sweet

I do support the athletics at my school...too bad the school doesn't support the arts.
Well, Thenardier, at least your ending the summer with a great session of BWW forums!! Good Luck at school--make the most of it! I only have a week left before school starts.....
I start tomorrow too and the only athletics will be the infamous cross campus sprint to get to class on time...Well, there will be a strenuous bout of hating those who haven't started school yet, not sure thats a sport though...yet!
Awww, thank you Yenta

I'm at college and I signed up for intramural indoor volleyball.

I started Monday. I am taking all honors classes and am going to try and get the Acedemic Honors diploma. Then I am gonna do all I can to get to the University of Arizona, because it is a VERY good school. I will then go to veteranary school. Then I will save and save and save and then go to New York and possibly live out my dream to be on Broadway.
As for sports, I would if I knew poeple would'nt beat me up for being gay. I am made fun of in choir for God sakes. That is really pathetic.
Hating life,

i'm starting school on the 8th of sept....thank you for that announcement and will keep that in mind since im starting my first year of high school this year. and i know it's important to get involved in lots of things in hs
my athletic support (ha) is my freaking $150.00 athletic fee toward the gym/pool/whatever that I dont use!
Gah I start school tomorrow. I had volleyball tryouts a couple days ago and they KILLED me. I guess that's what I get for not practicing over the summer.

Thanks Yenta! I just went to my first class -- Astronomy :-p blegh
My athletic participation will consist of my 15 minute walk to class every day! I'm not big on athletics :)

Thanks to Yenta I will look out at my new classes next week and visualize nothing but athletic supporters.
Aww thanks Yenta. I'm sooo ready for a year of academic overload/hell. I just pray to the greater forces in life that I don't get freshman gym. I'm not really in the mood to run 5 miles in the rain anymore, I'm so over that.
Thanks, Yenta! I actually just signed up for Wellness at my school...ah, useless classes. Free credit, yay!
I'm part of the semi-athletic and theatre group at my school. Meaning I do cross country (which isn't considered cool, but oh well) because it keeps me in shape for the winter when we have the school musical.

I so miss high school. I didn't think I would, but seriously. It was so freakin' easy. College is so freakin hard, and I haven't even started yet. All this paperwork and money crap. GRR! Oh well. And moving, and finding a place to live, and being able to pay for all of it. No fun.
I was seriously thinking of pulling a "Never Been Kissed" thing (w/o the reporter part) and just going for a year so I could do something.
YES! College is so hard! My classes are biting my ass so hard.

PLUS work, PLUS an acapella group, PLUS the play. *stabs self in brain*
Yeah.
I'm doing two productions and starting work on a third which I'm directing in the Spring.
And I'm working on things for the Irene Ryan competition in December.
And I'm auditioning at URTAs for grad schools in January.
And I have a strange added stressor that I've never had to deal with before: a boyfriend.
Not sure how I'm going to handle this.
Ugh, I start next Thursday.
Junior year, please leave as fast as you came.
