Sadly, the music industry isn't about albums any longer. It's a about cherry picking the hits and downloading them. I have liked all of her albums as a whole when I listened to the whole thing. Less people do that now.

I don't think we can call the album a flop just yet, it's been out for 2 weeks. Yes it's not selling as I'm sure she wanted but as I said this album was gonna struggle after the leakes since everyone had it weeks ago, as the article mentions. I'm not sure where they are getting the. 'Less than stellar reviews' from, this album has been very well received minus a fee publications. Personally I'm just happy we got a great album .

And yes, the porn face was pretty funny

Radio is really growing on Ghosttown - or vice versa

i'm sure the iheart awards performance will help it as well.
it was a good performance.

The song is cracking the top 100 on iTunes today.
(after being nowhere the last 2 weeks)

I'd rather this song than Rihanna's 'Bitch Better Have my Money'. Oy. what a disaster.

I saw that performance of Ghosttown with Taylor Swift on guitar last night. I must say that was the loveliest performance I've seen M do. No extravagant spectacle with backup singers and dancers and M trying to dance like she's 20. It was just her, singing beautifully on a stool, then getting up and doing some solo dancing. And the very lovely Swift doing a gorgeous job on guitar. I wanted that song to go on forever!

And yes, much better than what Rhianna turn out last night. yech! So disappointed.

The French? Pretty sure this is a global phenomenon. I'm sure this is where S&D waltzes in to tell us that this is proof of Madonna's relevancy and that only a global gigastar of her wattage would have had the guts to awkwardly put her leg up on the table like that and start a revolution of hip dislocations.

Dear lord, you do your best to avoid things like celeb JO sessions about their grand new Tidal but they frigging DEMAND you see it by chopping a commercial out of it and shoving it into your night while you're trying to enjoy Michelle Obama on The Tonight Show and there it is narrated by whatever the hell accent Madonna is using NOW… "it's about people and arrt and arrt and people human arrt" shut the hell up you stupid spoiled far too rich IMBECILES.

It is kinda illuminati-ish that they find a way to make you see their empty pageantry even when you have studiously avoided it.

So glad she's still dedicated to arrt because arrt is important as is continuing to make unreasonable amounts of money because you have an emptiness in you that can never be filled.

If you want to discuss TIDAL, you must address it in the TIDAL thread, but you CANNOT talk about Madonna or Illuminati even if Madonna did talk about Illuminati herself on the topic of TIDAL but ONLY to address the flood of Twittergrams who insist the TIDAL people (not just Madonna) are members of the Illuminati (not the song). you guys should take this show on the road. Namo Matt Song and Dance.... like a modern day Davis/Crawford feud.

I must say the thing that has made me "saddest" (?) about this era of Madonna's music making/public persona is the missing mystery. I understand people gave her excrement about seeming aloof and too hot to be bovvered in decades (hell, centuries) past but the oversharing she seems to enjoy reveling in now seems to suggest to me there is no longer anything there... there. I must believe there once was.
