Costas reiterates that somehow hockey is an individual sport and that Crosby was 'carrying a nation on his back' yet Costas admits a defeat would not have completely jeopardized their gold medal hopes. Oh yeah let's just mention Crosby again. At least he corrected himself and acknowledge Brodeur. Bob is just lost outside of baseball.

I hate how they cut away to show Evan's reaction instead of showing Plushenko's response to his own score. His score was barely up on the screen long enough for me to read it before they switched to the close-up of Evan and his coach. Good for him and all, but I don't see why they couldn't wait to show it until after they'd given Plushenko the same respect they'd shown everyone else.
Now during the medal ceremony, they didn't even show Plushenko mounting the podium, despite the commentators mentioning it. Was the close-up of Evan waiting really more important? Now I remember why I hate watching the Olympics and end up only watching 1 or 2 events. I understand NBC wants to support Team USA, but the Olympic coverage is more biased than Fox News.

Neither was Shani Davis (US speedskater), and he won the gold. He was all smiles on the podium, but when the Star Spangled Banner started to play, he looked positively glum.
