Lately Avenue Q has been opening the waterworks with me... "I Wish I Could Go Back to College" and "Fine, Fine Line" both do it to me.
As a kid, the Phantom's lack of a love at the end (homicidal or not) got to me.
The end of Aida had my mom and I crying in a cab on the way to JFK, 30 minutes after the curtain call (Throw your stones, cynics)
I know that this is a better topic for the main board, but I didn't want everyone to see me crying...
I get teary during the scene in Gypsy where Herbie walks out on Rose; and she says, "Why does everyone walk out?" as tears are falling down her face.
Also during the song "For Good" from Wicked.
I cried during Taboo when they did the tribute video to the real Leigh Bowery.
I cried at the end of Hollywood Arms.
I don't think I cried during Temporary Help (the off-Broadway play), but I remember it being very emotional.

I cry during the stupidest things.
When I saw Fame at the LST, I cried during "In L.A" and during "Fame" at the end....Any play or musical that shows an actor struggling or failing will really turn on the waterworks. To make me cry, it usually has to be something that I identify with myself.
Yeah, and everyone at Fame was looking at me like I was crazy.
Obviously I understood why.

I cry everytime I hear "Sketch" in hairspray now
I almost always tear up when the first note begins. I'm waaaay too sensitive.
I forgot, I also cried during certain scenes in The Boy From Oz.

I always sob during I'll Cover You Reprise, Goodbye Love, and Without You in Rent...and usually whoever I'm with laughs at me.
When I saw tick, tick...BOOM! this summer and the actor who plays MIchael, Jon's best friend entered as Jon's dad (the 2 supporting actors play one main role and many smaller ones) limping just a little bit, I positively lost it. I don't know why.
In Zanna, Don't!, during Someday You Might Love Me, Jai (as Zanna) had tears streaming down his face so that made me cry too.
It's funny, I never cry at books or movies but I tear up so easily at shows.
Um...the part in Rent when they are all talking about Angel after he dies...and also when Collins sings the reprise for I'll Cover you.
Hmmm...Oh during For Good in Wicked, oh and also the tribute to Leigh Bowry in Taboo...
Ohh and of course Aida...I can't help but crying my eyes out all through the end!
CityLights I'm completely with you on the crying about RENT. God that show always gets to me.
Les Mis was done in my city awhile ago, and even though some of my best friends were in it and I tried to make myself believe the show wasn't real, I BAWLED my damn face off. Empty Chairs, A Little Rain Fall, finale all are the big ones I can't stop crying about.
I also cry when I hear "Let The Sunshine In" from Hair.
Oh and when Tony dies at the end of West Side Story. KILLS ME every time.
God I'm a suck. :P
Shows that make me cry, eh? Let's see if I can think of all of them!
*A Chorus Line - Paul's monologue had me bawling
*Les Miserables - cried every night backstage when I was in the show and cried when I finally saw it on Broadway
*La Boheme - does this really need an explanation?
*RENT - moved me to tears both times
*Aida - that ending!
*Titanic - from the last week of rehersals on, I cried myself into a frenzy every night
I'm sure there are tons more, but that's all I can think of right now.
LES MIS - After Gavroche sings "Little People" for the last time when collecting bullets on the other side of the barricade (don't want to spoil it for anyone who has yet to see it).
THE FULL MONTY - When Malcom and Ethan sing "You Walk With Me" at the funeral.
These moments are the few that just do it for me.
ragtime: 'Til We Reach That Day had me sobbing! i was overjoyed and crushed to find out that there was still another act to go. i could barely stand by the end.
rent: when angel dies, and everyone gives a memory. gets me every time
Wicked: For Good. i heard this with a friend right before we left each other for a long time, and i cried all the way home
The Lion King: Circle of Life. i know its disney, but who couldn't be moved by that scene!
Cinderella: its just such a bad musical!
Man of Lamancha: Brian moves me, no matter what.
Les Miserables: need i explain?
Les Miserables (during certain songs), Jekyll and Hyde, and RENT. I know there's more, but I don't want to embarrass myself too much!
Aida - I cried for an hour and a half the second time, even though I knew what would happen.
Rent - when Angel dies
Taboo - the Leigh Bowery film
Cabaret - the finale. And I cried my eyes out on January 4th, for pretty much the whole show.

Ragtime: I saw that show five times and everytime I could not help but be moved to tears
Aida: I cry at the end becuase it is both beautiful and so sad
Rent: Angels death gets me everytime
Rent: "I'll Cover You Reprise". Especially with Mark Richard Ford. That man is THE Collins. I don't care what anyone else says. He's the only one that could get me cry for that show.
Avenue Q: "There's a Fine Fine Line".
Wicked: The scene where Glinda pays her respects to Nessa, and then Elphaba says "Nessa. PLEASE FORGIVE ME. I am so sorry." and her and Elphaba have Bitchfest 2004. Yeah, I'm a big Nessa fan. And at the very end, when they sing "I have been changed..." because Glinda's all alone and she'll never know.
Children of Eden (In Whatever Time We Have). The Last 5 Years (The Next Ten Minutes). Elegies (The Day the Earth Stopped Turning). Cabaret (Tomorrow Belongs to Me Reprise)
I know it's not an entire musical, but 30/90 makes me cry everytime I hear it. RAUL!!

Hollywood Arms. I cried buckets at the end of that show. No matter how many times I saw it, and I always knew what was coming, I always cried.
Sometimes, I also get a little weepy at the beginning of Nowadays -- but the only Roxie to bring me to tears in Tracy Shayne... she cries onstage to the point where you wonder how she can still sing!
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...
Just got teary-eyed at A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC here in Chicago. I realized that whatever the shorcomings of a production, the score will always choke me up.
LES MISERABLES: The finale and On My Own.
WICKED: Too many places to name.
RENT: I'll Cover You, Rep. and Another Day
AIDA: I cried when Toni Braxton was in it.

Don't feel bad anyone who is sensitive. LoL i'm in that crowd too! For some strange reason I feel this emotion when I walk into a theatre. Then when I am leaving I get a tear in my eye.
But the plays I cried during were...
Aida - from elaborate lives and on
Movin' Out - shameless

I guess I'm the only one who holds back the tears!
Honestly, I can't allow myself to cry, only because I realize that the situation isn't "really happening!" I try very hard to hold my tears and I often look away!!
But I could never control my laughter! I laugh very easily, and when something is funny, I just can't stop!! The last thing I want is others thinking I'm rude!!
