Smartphone users will be the first to know who Mitt Romney has chosen as his vice presidential pick, the Romney campaign said Tuesday as it unveiled a new smartphone app.
Mitt’s VP app, available for Apple and Android devices, promises “an exclusive notice of his VP selection before anyone else,” according to an email to supporters from campaign adviser Beth Myers. It will unveil “America’s comeback team,” the Romney campaign’s name for the GOP ticket.
Guarunteed the phone will be smarter than the person chosen

"Siri, is it raining? Siri, who will be my friend?"
Let's get tomato soup delivered!
"Romney" and "Smart" in the same sentence? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
^ This sentence is fine. It proves that Romney's phone is the smart one in the relationship.

Suddenly I have this visual of Mother Burnside from the movie Mame responding when the name is announced....BURP
Mitt Romney is extremely intelligent. I think debating that is just silly, honestly. But being smart and having common sense are two different things.
I totally need to buy a smartphone so I can get the news 5 seconds before it's splashed all over the media and the internet. If I'm standing in the right spot at the right time to get reception, that is. I need to feel exclusive.
I will just wait the three seconds it takes to hit the news after it is announced on the app...
I'm pretty sure the media will be respectful of the app and wait a while before reporting on the news, out of respect to those who have downloaded it to be first.
I'm sure the media have all downloaded it. They'll have their phones sitting on their desks, nervously looking down every minute to see if it's been announced, as if they were expecting their date from the night before to text them back.
Kad wins.
Jordan's right about Romney. The guys is intelligent. I say the same thing to people who say Obama isn't intelligent.
Both of them are incredibly smart but smart people can have dumb opinions, solutions, and lack common sense.

But only one of the two smart guys would release "A Better Amercia" app.

^Yes, I think you missed the point about common sense.
Plus, not all smart people are good communicators - just ask Mark Zuckerburg, who is a genius by most accounts.
By the way, I'm not a Romney fan, quite the opposite actually, but that doesn't mean I have to say the man isn't smart.
This may very well be the smartest thing the Romney campaign has done to date and the smartest thing it will ever do.

He's intelligent and certainly savvy at earning money, at the expense of being a person and having empathy.
The campaign promises they can find out who Romney chooses "before the press and just about everyone else (except maybe Ann)."
"It's a question everyone's asking: Who will be Mitt Romney's VP? There's no telling when that answer might come," the campaign said.
Kinda like Where's Waldo.
Maybe he'll choose Crist. It's be "America's Brokeback Team".
