SUPERELASTICBUBBLEPLASTIC - dangerous toys from the 70s & 80s

I had forgotten about this one until now. I probably forgot it because of all the toxic fumes I swallowed as I played with this.

It most certainly had a distinctive smell and I was never able to get it to work.

Hey Dottie! Did your colleagues enjoy the cake even though your cat decided to sit on it? ~GuyfromGermany

I loved it. And it tasted like how Barbie's dream house smelled.

I used to use this all the time. But that stuff really stank.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

I LOVED this stuff. It was not normal how much I loved it.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I think my sister had some. I remember being jealous because I thought it was cool. She never let me try it.

God, I remember that stuff. I really do think it was just a little tube of airplane glue, it was pretty toxic smelling.

Along the lines of dangerous toys that you just have to wonder "what were they thinking would happen," let's not forget lawn darts.

They still make Plastic Bubbles at least up until a few years ago because I had it and they did smell awful.

I also had Lawn Darts at 5 years old. And the Magic Worm.

I want to play Bubble Soccer now and for always.

Speaking of dangerous toys...

Words don't deserve that kind of malarkey. They're innocent, neutral, precise, standing for this, describing that, meaning the other, so if you look after them you can build bridges across incomprehension and chaos. But when they get their corners knocked off, they're no good anymore…I don't think writers are sacred, but words are. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones in the right order, you can nudge the world a little.
