Do you think "black privilege" is a real thing, Boris?
Charlie did.

Can YOU say “ad hominem”?
Say it with me! Ad hominem. Great job! 😃😃😃😃"
Yes yes, it's important because that's what many people do here. For example, did you notice when I disagreed with Seb28 in the Maybe Happy Ending thread because I DO believe that they should only cast an asian male in the lead role, I actually provided an argument and reasons for doing so? And I directly responded to where I think he went wrong. That is a proper debate. Many of you just called him names. That is just boring.
If you can only call people names it often suggests there is a problem with your own ideas because you wouldn't need to call people names if you could argue on the actual ideas.

Of course not. But being removed from a message board for repeatedly being an ignorant bigot is helpful!

Oh the irony.
If people weren’t so ready to write with ad hominem, this forum would be a third of the size that it is.
ER765 said: "I guess your dumb ass doesn’t know how to google the words “Charlie Kirk racism"
None of those links display any racist behaviour of Kirk. The writing itself often is.
Kirk actually listened to black people.
There is a certain ring to the phrase 'BWW Bigots'

That’s called ignorance. That’s called racism. You are dense as hell. The three of you can have at it on this thread. Have fun j*rking each other off. I’m done.

Why are you still here then? How long do I have to wait for a substantiated reply from you?

What you, Seb28, and Boris are willfully ignorant of is that this isn't debate club. It's a ****ing Broadway message board. You all retreat to cries of "ad hominem!" and "substantive replies only!" only after you've thoroughly provoked and pissed off a number of people and then play dumb about it. Nobody has agreed to your bad-faith rules of engagement and nobody is obligated to follow them. Not unlike Charlie Kirk, who, despite being eulogized as someone who dared to debate the other side, usually did so in situations where he could control who was debating him and on what topics and could use the results to create trolling content.
You're a bunch of attention-starved phonies who managed to find a poorly moderated niche message board where you can turn every thread into an opportunity to grab the spotlight for yourselves.

When you say something substantial, you’ll get the same response. Funny how every single person on this board who has come back at you with facts and a sound argument is just immediately dismissed because you’ve already made up your ignorant mind (and there have been MANY across MANY threads). So why even bother? You’re very, very sad.

At least they’re not starting a self important thread over it as if anyone on this board would even notice you’re gone. This isn’t an airport - no need to announce your departure, GURL.

It exists. But I’m not racist. I have black friends. I have black neighbors. I’ve defended black people. I’ve been employed by black people. I’ve employed black people (and before anyone even THINKS of making a slavery joke, you’d be racist if you did so).
P.S. Next time you call out a friend for using ad hominem in an argument with you, think of me!

Aww Kad, you know you are one of my favourite posters!
I've re-read my own posts in this thread and I just don't see how my posts are even inflammatory - I don't even think I say controversial things. All I do is disagree with some of your world views, and I provide the reasons why.
I'm pissing people off because I don't think there should be calls for political violence and because I think the evidence suggests it was an ideological left motive? (which I provided clear reasons for).
I don't think I even have bad faith rules, I just want people to discuss the ideas.
I must admit I do feel a lot of spotlight right now, I continue to find it so strange why people keep doing it.

I’ve mentioned before that provocation is in the eye of the beholder. People getting annoyed that myself or others are holding firm in our argument and not folding/retreating at insults has nothing to do with us 🤷♂️

This is not a matter of thinking. It's a fact. I can name hundreds of examples.
For example in commercials all over the country, where approximately 50% is being cast black, while only 12% of the country's population is black. That is impossible. That is privilege.
Being able to say and do things that no other race can. Being able to exclude other races from things that no other race can. The question is, do you like it or do you want to achieve equity? Because you can't have both.
My friend Charlie Cheon made a video about it and explains it very well. He includes some more horrifying examples of black privilege:

They aren't. These aggressive users are riled up because they are being confronted with the truth, which shakes their previous beliefs. They are finding out they were on the side of evil. They were under the delusion that their intentions were good. They need to rearrange their whole identity. That takes time. Confrontation, denial, resistance, realization, acceptance, respect, happiness.

Seb, how come you always get two upvotes within seconds of posting your comment?

I don't think that's what it is. I'd call that "throwing crumbs" or perhaps "pandering." If you want to know who is really privileged in American society, take a look at which segments of the population have been significantly over-represented in every single Congressional election since 1788.

And when Seb28 spent page after page after page after page after page slating the Sunset revival, did you always live up to your own definition of "proper debate"? Or did you go on a bender and post a couple thousand word essay on how dark forces were trying to keep Nicole from Tony even though she was better than Merman and Martin and Holliday combined?

Should I say I don’t have any black friends? Would that be better to demonstrate that I’m not a racist?
I really think the left is making the right “the enemy” much more than the right is making the right “the enemy”.
