I'd probably tie Happiness and Palindromes.
THE WAR OF THE ROSES is by far the darkest comedy I've ever seen. And in the 16 years since it's release, I've never seen a film that even comes close to topping it.

Jordan, that is one of my all-time favorite flicks.
Heathers, hands down!
I was about to post Heathers... it was so disturbingly funny, I almost had to walk out of the theater.
BSOB you consider May a comedy?!?! That is the creepiest movie I have ever seen. I liked it a lot, but I don't remember finding it funny....and I have a really weird sense of humor so that's saying something.

May is definitely one of them.
The Cook, The Thief, His Wife & Her Lover is eff-ed up.
true cheno, I had forgotten about that one.
Ah, Heathers. "Well f**k me gently with a chainsaw". I LOVE IT.
Eating Raoul and Death Becomes Her.
tie: madonna's "the next best thing" and madonna's "swept away."
LOL!
Just found out in a cruel irony that Kim Walker, the Heather who uttered the legendary line "did you eat a brain tumor for breakfast" died in 2001 at the age of 32, from a brain tumor.
LOL RobbO
pop- i remember when Kim Walker died. I was sad, indeed. She also had the memorable line "Transfer to Washington, tranfer to Jefferson. No one's going to play your little reindeer games."

Bad Santa..
I LOVE that movie despite its "twisted-ness"
I do love Heathers.
I also vote for Truly, Madly, Deeply.
Would you consider "American Psycho" a comedy? Or "Natural Born Killers"?

Dr. Strangelove is probably the darkest comedy I know of. It makes War Of The Roses look like an episode of Barney.
I second Dr. Strangelove. I love that movie.

Kind Hearts and Coronets
The Cook, The Thief, His Wife & Her Lover
