So, I brought in Civilian and put it on, and they HATED it. I was loving every minute of it, since it was...well...Adam, and the seniors were angry.

Aw, I'm sorry. I absolutely hate it when I put on music and my friends don't care for it... they're free to like what they like, but it makes me embarassed! Even I've said on here various times that I don't really listen to other artists who sound like Adam stylistically, but one would think that they'd appreciate his music for what it is.

If they like heavy metal, maybe you can bring in Mute songs? Heh.

I have a MySpace but it says that I am from the closest big city. It is really easy to be careful on that site, all the bad stuff people hear about is because of the kids that have absolutly no common sense.

Yeah, my mom gets bad sinus infections, another lovely gene I've gotten from her, and she's been on the medication I'm on and said it usually works within 48 hours. I also got some Advil Cold & Sinus that the doctor told me to take throughout the day. I think I'm going to have a nap, my ears aren't that bad right now, and I really want to be able to see Into the Woods tonight.

I know the feeling. I generally get along well with my roommate, but she's made it clear that she really dislikes the type of music that I tend to enjoy, and I always feel funny about listening to music on my computer when she's around.

Heh. I don't care what anyone thinks about my music. They put on rap and Israeli music, both of which are not quite my taste. Although, my suitemate seems to like TTB quite a lot.

I never play music aloud, but my roommate is so anal that she gets annoyed when she can hear the slightest noise from my iPod headphones. I don't even listen to music that's that loud, so I don't know what her problem is.

I don't think that I do that, although sometimes with cast albums certain parts get really loud. At the same time, though... she has headphones, too. I turn it down if she asks me to, but I honestly think that most of the time it isn't that loud anyway.

Oh my God, that reminds me of my summer roommate at William & Mary. I think I've told all of you that she played the same Backstreet Boys song over 20 times in a row, but she had a fit the first time she heard the faintest hint of noise from my headphones. I don't like it when I can hear the actual words from someone's headphones, either, but it was the loudest song on the album and really wasn't that loud.

Sorry, any mention of anything remotely connected to my summer roommate sends me into a fit.

Jessica, none of my friends like anything that I do except for like, the Rent movie soundtrack.

okay, so I'm going to Costa Rica over spring break, right? Except maybe not. I just found out that passports have to be valid for 30 days after arrival in the country, and mine expires after 20 days or something. Somehow I missed out on this vital piece of information. SOo, I showed my teacher my passport today, and she started FREAKING OUT, because I can't use it and we're leaving in a week and a half! So, now I don't if I can go. I mean, I have to apply for a new passport and I have to use this service and it's going to be expensive and I'm afraid it won't get here on time and AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

It usually takes like 6 weeks or something. There's this service that can supposedly get it to me in 3 days or something, but it costs a lot of money, and I'm afraid my mom will be mad at me, even though it's really no one's fault.

Uggghh, passport issues. My passport was stolen when I was in Italy, and I had to go to the American embassy in Rome and get a new copy. Anyway, don't freak out completely--they issued mine that same day (though it was a temporary one valid for a year) and so I'm sure that they have ways to deal with situations like this when they come up. It might be a hassle, but I'm sure you'll make it on your trip.
