I am off to sleep, see you all tomorrow.
Ryan--
Is the launch still tomorrow?
You bet! I should have everything up by tonight. I am just working on a few areas as we speak. But basically, it is done.

Alright, so I the internet is down on my computer, so I'm out here for a bit.
It's time for the random picture of the day..
Joanna Gleason and Raul Esparza in The Normal Heart
I'll be back for night cam hopefully..
I have a major test tomorrow on the end of the manifest destiny (Texas, California, Oregon.. etc). It's kind of incredibly confusing and sucks.
Ii'm out as well. Gotta bring my iPod shuffle to the Apple Store. My boyfriend just gave it to me (we did Christmas a little late since we weren't together for the real thing) and the darn thing won't work!

Don't let him see you type that Ali.
Mmmm...cute baseball players...Derek Jeter, my baby
Cat, I'm soo proud!! C'mon long posts are fun! And I actually got a lot out of that, I'm glad you posted in so much detail, you should continue!
So you really liked Eden? I mean I've read others say she doesn't scream like in Bkln and the concert, I know I have a bit of a biased against her, but of course if she's good, she's good and I'll like it.
I loved Derrick too! He had a great voice, and had...I dunno some kind of nice quality to Fiyero. Leagues better than Ayers IMO. Though I am curious...you say the new Nessa can't sing...would you be able to compare her to Ayers? I almost am thinking if you claim to know not much about singing but can still say she was bad...hmm...
Aww glad you liked Rob, I chatted w/ him after a concert he was in and he's a doll! And I really liked Megan, I mean I've seen Kristin and JLT and Megan and I like what each of them brought to the part. Maybe Megan is a little below the other 2, but I've had 3 Glinda understudies in diff. venues that I was very disappointed in, so I guess that moves Megan up in my book.
Ryan, by old cast do you mean that of a month ago or the OBC? Of course no one can compare to the OBC...
So glad Rue's gone! And that I got to see Carole once more in DC!
And sorry about Hearn...I was hoping for Sean for you...oh well.
New av isn't up at this moment, but should be by the time you guys read this.
Back from the Apple store and loading up my new iPod. I love their warranty. Anything goes wrong within the first 6 months, just bring it back and they give you a new one!
Anyway, I'm excited that I'll have it for when I go running tomorrow. I must be one of the few people in the world who find running to showtunes motivating!
Not sure if I'll make it back for the evening cam, so just in case...
Goodnight Greg!
Gerry's back, all is right with the world
Okay, I'm going out...most likely will not be here at all for the cam, unless after dinner we go back to my friend's house and I sneak on, which if we're at her house I prob will...damn BWW addiction
Whoa Whoa...I would never claim to say someone could or couldn't sing...it just sounded a bit weak to me, but as I said that doesn't mean much as I'm not musically trained...at all.
As far as comparing her to Ayers, its not quite the same thing in my mind, to me, just my opinion, which is all I have to go by, Ayers' acting wasn't very strong and his voice was not just weak but he didn't really nail every note, however, he wasn't a disgrace by any means
And as far as Eden goes I didn't personally percieve her as screaming as is my understanding of the term, she seemed completely controlled the whole time with great tone, her raw power really worked for Elphaba...let me say once again JUST IN MY OPINION.
I saw her in Brooklyn and liked her in that too, although I understand why people said she was screaming in that, but for the most part I attributed that to the notes being uneccesarily high, and I thought it was impressive that she hit them nonetheless JUST IN MY OPINION.
Amanda, I met the cast after Megan took over in May.
Shoshana Bean
Megan Hilty
David Ayers
Michelle Federer
Jeffery Kuhn (very good though Rob Sapp has a quirky charm)
Carole Shelley
Ben Vereen
My favorite cast of Wicked thus far. The OBC was great but there was some different charm to that bunch (probably because they were mostly unknowns). And you know I have that serious Bean crush XD
Hello Greg!
Hi Ryan. Have you seen him? I'm still seeing an empty dressing room on the cam.
Hey Mamie! I'm seeing an empty room too.
I have much to do, I have to get stuff ready for the music festival I'm in tomorrow..
Woo I see him. Hiya Greg!
ps.
:) And the greg thread is honored to have the very special MBCotD here.
We're not sharing her.
Ok Liz, I get half of Mamie and you get the other half.
PS. I want the right half.
That is all.
awe.....shucks!
Shut up.
Mexico gained it's independence from Spain in 1821.
The battle of the Alamo began in 1836.
In Sept. 1836 Texas became an independent.
America didn't want to annex Texas because of the issues over whether it was a slave state or not/ fearing of war with Mexico.
.. and the Oregon Trail starts in Independence, Missouri.
