1,000 i believe. it seems like it's taking forever, doesn't it?
how many do you have now? after getting 1000, it;s all down hill from there and you get a lot more before you realize it. I have over 3000 now, and it's mainly cause of this thread. Well, really, it is all about this thread.

Def agreed on # of posts, it seemed like it took me forever to get to be a legend, but now forget it. Then again I lurked for months, then went from posting occassionally to posting constantly on here, and sometime other big OT threads and all over the main board so yeah...lotsa posts...oops.
Okay this is so upsetting and ontopic that I had to put it in its own post instead of combining.
Yesterday on the NLB status thread on the main board, someone posted about someone at the box office said of the 4 stars in the show(Pryce, Norbert, Sherie, and Joanna), only Norbert was in. Me: WTF?? I've never heard anyone refer to DRS as having 4 stars, I asked for the box office dude's description so I can have a chat w/ him lol, it was fine there...
Except if you guys go you will see this, then someone replies to me there's the 4 of them, what's the problem, who else?? Well, you could imagine my slightly long, peeved reaction to that...the 6 stars adds joke, 5 names above the billing, etc. Then after posting I see, he/she made an edit...if I was referring to Mylinda or Greg, they're not NEARLY as well known as the other 4. Riight. Even that argument aside, I said oh okay, by that logic, everytime john Lithgow was out we all should have said the ONE star of DRS is out b/c he is obviously much more well-known than the other 3...and I mean so what norbert won the Tony, John's more well-known, he's the star!
Ulgh!
Agreed Amanda! What always bugged me when ever I was out promoting the show is that I had to mention John Lithgow was in it in order to register some response. It was always like he was the only star in the show. Once the people I send see it they always tell me such a wonderful group effect those six brought to the the show. They all deserved top billing.
Its so odd the Box Office would not acknowledge Greg as being one of the stars, given that he and Joanne share a very large Rodgers/Hammerstein-esqe pairing in the play and are as principal as they come. The person also said Greg was 'unknown'. Well, I feel that tag is fast disappearing. What Greg and Barb have done has been incredible. Thanks to his very warm and appreciative personality, Greg has gravitated a ton of fans to his website and his cam. Patrons seem to be unanimous for their enjoyment of him in the role. His fame and great reputation continues to grow so calling him an 'unknown' is happily becoming increasingly wrong.

I don't really like that expression "star" and nor does the the actors...on Bway stage.
They are actors not stars...star is something sudden and has a kinda negativ meaning nowadays (think just Jessica Simphson or whoever).
And no, John is not a star, he is an ACTOR.

It's final tonight I will change my avatar back...I was in the "say something about the avatar right above you" thread and someone wrote to me "wow, John in and out of make-up"
I don't know I don't think that funny or I am just "out of humour" today but I will change it!
I'm a 5 time legend, not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing, meh...There should be more gradiations, it was more fun when working for a title.
Anyway despair not Sarah I don't have a Sweeney CD either and I went to the darn signing. I bought the CD at Virgin records, hadit in my grubby little hands, went to wicked, hightailed it to the Sweeney line which was unbelievably long, and there were two of them! One for the audience members and one for the stragglers comme moi, the audience one was much shorter but they fed both the lines in together so a couple of people went from each line at a time...Anyway I waited on line for an hour, luckily it wasn't that cold, sadly I was with ym sister though who was 8 andI felt a bit like a child abuser for taking her, but she didn't seem to mind too much, I guess chillingin the city is better than going to bed early when you're 8. Alas, as soon as I got to the door, soo close but soo far, they closed the door to the signing, which was tragic. However, all was not lost as I did get a voucher for a Signed Sweeney CD which I can redeem though the mail. Of course, than I still had that unsigned Sweeney CD, but the theater was giving refunds, which was nice. They were probably only for the people who bought it on the line, but oops I got one anyway, which was good as I can't afford to buy the Sweeney CD twice!! So now I'll be getting a Signed Sweeney Todd CD in 4-6 weeks, I'm a tad dissappointed, but the Signed CD is a lot more than a lot of the people behind me got because there were a ton and they didn't give out that many vouchers...*is looking on the brightside*
*Will not think about the fact that If I had left before curtain call of Wicked I would have gotten there in time*
Oooh on that note Wicked was amazing as was Eden Espinosa, and Derrick Williams kicked David Ayers butt...
Oooh also congrats to Mamie for MBCotD, and Theres still time to vote for BWW idol today folks which the Gregory Jbara's love thread's very own Westernsky2 is in....

I don't know why Bww.com doesn't write a thing from this event, which is absolutely Bway related....

i broke down...i had to buy Sweeney from iTunes. there are just no words to describe how flawless it is. i know a lot of people love Lansbury, but i don't think, after hearing this one, i could go back to the old recording now! Patti sounds amazing, as well as everyone else. (granted i've only got the first 7 songs so far...)
Hi all--
Sarah: have you seen the show yet? It's amazingly good!
PS: Check out my new avatar!! Since I'm no longer a grad student, I figured the coffee worship one was a little out of date. What better to update it with than a picture with Greg?!
