I keep picturing Raul locked in a sound-proof room reading the 35th hour of the Stephen King book into a microphone. He is dehydrated and starving and they are not going to let him out until the d*mn audiobook is finished.
Check out this video of Susan Blackwell at the Broadway Flea Market- it's great in general, but at about 14:00, she interviews Elizabeth Ashley, who tells Susan why she'd like to spend "Seven minutes in heaven" with Raul.
"Blow out the candles, Robert, and make a wish. Want something. Want something."
HAHA that video is excellent. I totally support such a booth. I love Anthony's facial expression when Susan proposes it to him. And word, Elizabeth Ashley. I love the way she says it, too. Gold mine.
I love that video! She is clearly a rabid fan. I love the way she can barely form a coherent sentence talking about him. "he's sly.....and dangerous...."
From Wes Craven's Twitter: 25/8 News: Nearing the end of the first week of the final mix. The film is sounding great.
Still no word on the release date though...
"I Googled myself and I paid the price, oh boy. I had to make a pact with myself to stop. My manager used to tell me ... 'Don't click pain!'"
- Raul Esparza
Oh, I agree! While I liked the 25/8 title I thought it was probably too subtle for the movie's....target audience. "My Soul To Take" is much better as a title, but I couldn't help the "ew", because of the imagery it created. Which was the intention, I'm sure, but still.... ew.
