I wish harris007 were here. I feels like the cows should make a cameo. I loved those cows.

Is #ChatBoardPatti the She Who Shall Not Be Named of BroadwayWorld?
Please advise.
...and thank you.

I just don't like to name people who have Google Alerts set for any mention of themselves and then get upset when they look themselves up, but yes, that's why *I* don't mention her name.
And because as all snarksters know, #SnarkIsSnark, whether lite, regular, or extra-strength.
Matt, I hope this tides you over.
Ho Ho Happy Happy to all!

Okay. The Hamilton thing? The Cher thing? On the Kennedy Center thing? I was barely able to pull myself back together for work this morning. I was left wrecked in the best of all possible ways.
Anybody else?
Oy thefaklemptedness of the whole meshegass! Cyndi Lauper & the Adam Lambert Cher-ing!
Clarkson Reba-ing. and Flemming Shorter-ing.
Oh yea they did some Hamilton stuff too ( doesn't it seem a bit early for life time achievement? Unless they figure this is as high as they fly?)
I know I'm late on the things we enjoy, but I was really happy to see Ice Castles on TV tonight. The 1978 movie, not the straight to video remake from a few years ago. It is such a cheesy and over dramatic movie, but I love it. Does anyone else?

Robby Benson, Lynn Holly-Johnson and a Melissa Manchester theme song? What’s not to love?

This has GOT to be a better year.
Good times and bum times,
I've seen them all and, my dear,
I'm still here.
What a wonderful thread and on the perfect board--old timers chatting and reminiscing about the GOTs.
Now that they have resurfaced perhaps this is where they will stay.

I ended up liking all of it. Even the Hamilton segment. The Reba segment, Believe and the Philip Glass tribute were my favorites. I just loved how very diverse the honorees were.
That S. Epatha Merkerson is a treasure. A TREASURE, I tell you!
So...2019 is off to a good start. Not dead yet. Plus it's they year I get married (3 months, 4 days and counting). I got a sh*t-ton to do!!!!

Congrats to both of you!
hi
Hamilton thing? LOVED And think it was completely deserved and quite brilliant of the Kennedy Center to honor them.
The Cher thing? WOW! Between that, and The Cher Show on Broadway, I’m having a ball turning back time and remembering every note and lyric of music that just needs to be loved.
The Kennedy Center Thing? Bravo. Brava. Bravi. One of my favorite events of the year.
Here’s to 2019! To old friends. Retiring (Congrats, sabrelady! I did it last year). Getting married! (SonofRobbieJ - xoxox) And to the best of this crazy sandbox. I’m happy to be back to play. Cheers!!

Loved The Cher Show but missed SJB
Oh, that’s too bad! I thought her performance was incredible Award worthy.
2019 will definitely start a bit better for me. Theatre trips to London and Berlin in March. An Inspector Calls in February, Raul Esparza as Hamlet in April and Mary Zimmerman's The Music Man in May. And hoping to swing a long weekend in Manhattan once Tootsie opens. I'm dying to see it again.
