You definitely don't watch this show. You're just trying to pollute the thread. Please... stop.
He got that right, Shawty Pop!
Pop pop!
I loved his line about beta blockers. Deuces!
i thought it was more interesting before they added all the Fairies and werewolves and shapeshifters.The stories wit Tara and Jason and Merlottes were more interesting. now it is as if pure humans are a rarity. anyone agree? I know i may be in the minority
why are you stalking me on various threads Liarsheadband?
Any thoughts on why they focused on Andy in the background when Bill was telling Sookie about how her refusal to help would hurt her friends?
And hey! Portia's back!

Not a single person anywhere ever has expressed those sentiments. Never. Not in this thread, not in the threads from the past seasons, not even in the above-linked Carrie Preston interview. Nope. You are a totally original thinker unafraid to travel her own road and express opinions previously unheard.
Sadly, you're right, Phyllis: even this thread has been so contaminated as to make it not fun. Oh well.
I'm glad we're focusing on Sookie again; she's pretty much what has kept me watching.
As to the vamp in Gen Pop, I wish at this point they'd stop introducing new characters. Or if they're going to, how about not having them all played by women with long, dark hair? I keep finding I'm halfway through a scene before I've figured out if it's Nora, the governor's daughter, or the new tough vamp--especially when they keep putting on disguises.

I honestly had no idea that was a new character. She looks like so many of the tangential vamps, I assumed it was the Nora actress in another role, or any number of the background players who might be called to hold a bucket of chicken.
Having said that, Gen Pop is my band's new name.
Reggie, my sister and i were thinking the same thing, it took us some time to realize that it was nora the sister and not the govs daughter who was dying. and now that girl werewolve at the end looks like them as well
and thank you Namo, i like to think i am an original thinker that doesnt just go along as a sheep as well.
Oh, and did this past episode, with Jason running around disguised as a guard, remind anyone else of some lost scene from "Star Wars"?
I imagine we'll find out more about her next week, when Jason becomes her prison biting bitch. I just hope they don't spend too much time on it. Three episodes left, and Warlow is still in fae-ville, Bill (and Eric) need to save every other major vampire on that show, the only-Warlow-can-kill-Lillith thing will come up, Alcide is in trouble with his pack, Sam is going back to Bon Temps, Arlene's a millionaire now, Sara has taken charge, Willa doesn't know about her dad, more deaths are coming. We do not need anything else, especially not that tart they brought in to be so overly mysterious, it's not even interesting.
Reggie, Jason, when he gets adventurous, reminds me of Spaceballs or some comedic version of an adventure.

You don't know the name of a character that has been on this series for two seasons now? Oh, COME OOONNN.. It's Rikki, for the record. And she looks nothing like the others.

Let's just ignore twatstorm in this thread.
That Gen Pop vamp reminds me a bit of Rena Sofer. If it turns out she's really old that means she'll be dead soon, too. Ancients never last!

You're right, this show is ageist! And I'm not sure I like the definition of "sister" and "brother" in the vampire world now that we've found out Eric and Nora weren't nearly as transgressive as the brother and sister in The Hotel New Hampshire.
If 1 character dies on True Blood, I think 2 or 3 grow as a a result. With the season wrapping up and them trying to get back to the core characters and life in Bon Temps, I don't understand why they keep introducing new faces.
Except Jessica's hot new vamp lover. He can stay.

I always think there's something really neat about characters who are hundreds to thousands of years old, but this show never lets them stay around for long. Godric, Salome (the entire Authority, really). Russell lasted longer than he should have, though, so many theory isn't exactly air-tight.
I find the whole development of "Vampire Families - They're Just Like Us!" to be a little strange. Until last season, it seemed like the show was going for the opposite.
I wonder if it's a failed attempt for the show to say, "If centuries-old vampires can't make it, the younger ones better beware!" without anything really happening to the younger ones.
Damnit, Warlow is screwed, and not just by Sookie

I'd say that his half-fairiness would save him, but old fairies faire (heh) no better! Look at poor Coco last year!
Did they ever say who turned Steve Newlin?
New faeries don't last long, either. Hot Wings was massacred. Andy's daughters...
Only two storyline-important werewolves have died, though, if I remember correctly. Let's up that number in the spirit of fairness.

No, Steve's maker was never mentioned. I thought maybe it was going to turn out to be Salome or that lady from Cougar Town who was in the Authority, but I'm guessing it wasn't them. He did say it was a woman that turned him, though, right?
As bad as the werewolves are (and they are terrible), remember it could be worse - they could be werepanthers.
I gotta bone to pick with the writers for killing off the great loves of the lives of practically all the series' regulars and featured guests, except Sookie. Renard Parish must have one helluva mortality rate.
* Poor Arlene lost Rene & Terry
* Andy lost 3 daughters at once
* Sam lost Daphne, Luna, and most likely Nicole by season's end
* Alcide lost Debbie thanks to Sookie
* Bill lost Lorena due to a release and Sookie
* Pam lost Eric due to a release
* Tara lost Eggs, her lady-wrestler-lover, and cra cra Franklin
* Jason lost the v-addict-chick, the were-panther
* Lafayette lost Jesus
* Eric lost Godric & Nora
* Russell lost Talbot
* The wolf-pack lost too many to count
* Jessica will most likely lose James by season's end
* Steve lost Russell
