Does anyone keep up on contract negotiations for True Blood? IF Skarsgard's contract was up, or he was actively attempting to re-negotiate, it's more than likely they edited it that way to simply give them both options next summer; the writers may not even know what his fate is. Hence the fact that his character was never even mentioned by others during the "Six Months Later" portion.
Thought the finale was okay. Agree with Jordan. This needed to be an extended episode... Way too much. Felt rushed. I got lost in certain parts. It's clear, though... True Blood is going back to its roots next year. Looking forward to it!
Either they haven't reached an agreement or they are just intentionally leaving the viewer hanging. I like it. It's kind of old school.

If Eric can just hang on til The Tonys...
Watching this season was like the longest, angriest hatef*ck of my life. (I just caught up with the last two episodes last night).
I mean...an entire episode dedicated to Terry Who The F*CK Cares If You Live Or Die Bellafleur??? That six months later bullSH*T?
This is what those three monkeys in a room with typewriters came up with instead of Hamlet, right?
Wow, two days. Way to kill the buzz you've just spent all that time and money creating. Cliffhangers are not what they used to be...

art, perhaps they figured to just get ahead of all the spoiler reports and confirm it themselves. It eventually becomes public knowledge who is contracted to be a 'guest,' 'regular,' and so on. Especially these days with journalists who are hired just to handle television rumor mills and spoilers, it's pretty tough to keep up a cliffhanger for an entire year.... at least if it's character related.
I just recalled how Sookie was able to break Eric's glamoring of Alcide. After Alcide recoiled from her in S5, she grabbed his hands with her magic fingers and tapped into his memory bank.

Maybe she could put memories of their daughter back in the brains of Jessica's parents?
Namo,
That seems to be sore subject for both of us. I'd like to see Jessica reunited with her family, at least with your younger sister. If I recall correctly, Jessica's dad was abusive to her mom and the daughters, perhaps even sexually.
I also don't like that Bill was able to glamor Portia BelleFleur off the show out of convenience as well until the last few episodes of the current season. It was after he slept with Portia that he learned that she was his mortal great-great-granddaughter. That arc had the potential for brilliant storytelling.
I haven't read the books.

I enjoyed the actress who played Portia and the Bill/Portia incest storyline intrigued me. I agree, javero - it would be nice to see them explore it again but ain't gonna happen.
So, looks like we get regular vamps vs. zombie vamps next year as the main storyline. I know they're parsing it down but what will be the other main b or c plots? Who wants to take bets?

Well, Mayor Sam and his shifter baby, for one.
Jess and James, the hot rocker vamp.
More fun with Adilyn and Sookie saving the town with their *faerie telepathy, for three.

Can we see it?
Apropos of nothing, I just discovered that Pam was Jerry's girlfriend with "Man-Hands" on Seinfeld.
"I think we’ve seen fairy blood wear off before, so a lot of viewers were thinking that was a possibility. Or are you saying Warlow’s blood would never have worn off?
Maybe it’s on us. Warlow’s blood was special in that once you had it, it was not gonna wear off. It was the real deal. That’s why Sookie’s blood and Adilyn’s blood didn’t do what Warlow’s blood could do. Bill, at a certain point in the season, realized Warlow is the prophecy, that’s why Lilith all along said that you alone are going to be responsible for the continuation of the species. But when Warlow died, out went everybody’s ability to walk in the sun."
Nice try with the rest, but he got it right with the "Maybe it's on us"

Where is LILITH?
Will she reprise her role as Merkin in Chief next season?
Finished re-watching the first season today.
Damn, Eric's accent has changed.
The finale of the first season was amazing and left so many questions.
Who is this Maryann? What happened to Lala? What's Jason doing with the Fellowship of the Sun? Who's the dead lady in the back of Andy's car, and what happened to her?
Call me spoiled, but I need finales to leave me with questions I twist and turn over until the new season. That's how it works.
They bought those merkins in bulk. They will return in some form.
