Sir Paul and Martin Short. How could you go wrong?

I finally saw last week's sketch.
I thought it was pretty Meh.
Pretty disappointed in light of his live comedy roots.
But this week - so looking forward!

This show better be funny after making me burst into tears at that beautiful beautiful opening.

I know this is fast, but I'm already in love with this.

The opening was beautiful and I loved Martin's "monologue". I'm always a sucker for guest cameos! Just finished watching the Charlie Brown sketch- enjoyed that and I always enjoy Alec Baldwin as Tony Bennett. To me, this has been one of the funnier episodes.

My TV cut out for a bit. Who was Kate McKinnon as Lucy supposed to be?

The opening was very poignant after recent events, Bravo SNL! Very classy!
Martin was very very involved in this weeks show! A perfectionist!
Thankfully McCartney's voice is better then last time he was on. I guess he was ill.

This episode is a HOME RUN! EVERY SINGLE sketch is hilarious, the musical guest is GREAT, and the host is AMAZING. KUDOS, Lorne & SNL team!
Also -- I think this may be the first time that the F-bomb has been audibly spoken on network television in, what, a decade? If anyone can get away with it, it's Samuel L. Jackson.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Loved Martin Short as Larry David as Linus.
The Restoration Hardware sketch was awful.

Okay episode. I will always love What Up With That, even if Jackie Rogers Jr (who freaked the HELL out of me as a kid) appeared.
That sketch with Martin Short and Fred Armisen in the store may be the very worst thing I've ever seen, though.

Paul McCartney rocked the studio after the show ended. (Birthday and Get Back!) Nobody wanted to leave.
Pretty awesome night at SNL.
The opening was perfect.
Agree, the Restoration Hardware skit was a clunker, but the rest worked really well.
Loved all the guest stars!

I couldn't stay awake for the entire show, but what I saw was very good. The royal gyno sketch was particularly good.
