The Kelly Anne Conway bit set to Roxy from Chicago was great last night.

With Baldwin as Trump and the other chick as Conway, and now Rosie O'Donnell as O'Bannon? This has to come off and there should be an incredible ratings jump. Rosie's sweet revenge, hope we see this.

O'Donnell will be playing bannon, though. https://www.broadwayworld.com/article/Rosie-ODonnell-Shares-Photo-in-Full-Steve-Bannon-Makeup-Christine-Baranski-Ready-to-Take-on-Betsy-DeVos-on-SNL-20170210

Stunt Casting. Are there no Darryl Hammonds or Will Ferrell or Dana Carveys? If there are they will never get the chance to grow
I have to think the dozen or so cast members they already have are not very happy about this.Between Alec,Melissa and now Rosy stealing high profile airtime. So many barely get any airtime as it is. Do they not think anyone is talented enough to play these 3 roles?

I actually couldn't stop thinking about how hilarious Vanessa Bayer or Cecily strong would have been for spicer.

Just a reminder that Lorne Michaels legitimized Trump by inviting him to host SNL - which makes him an accomplice in this disaster!

I agree with Stephen Colbert in your clip Haterobics, I feel bad for them and think they DO care too
Taran is no Dummy. you do not criticize Lorne on the air

SNL is having their best ratings in 20 years, and tomorrow's episode may be one of their highest rated episodes ever.

This is the first time I've watched in years. Ratings through the roof with the bash The White House theme must make Trump so miserable.

Nothing there confirms that O'Donnell will be playing Bannon. Someone photoshopped an photo of her face onto Bannon's and she shared it. That's all.

Stephen Colbert specifically addressed this with Taran Killam on his show. Per Killam, the cast has respect for these actors.

Taran was fired from the show, so he could answer truthfully (which I think he did) and he also could have totally said they would like to do it, but also understand the nature of the beast... of course, the Rosie thing is pure speculation at this point anyway.

Interesting take on the Stunt Casting.
Why ‘SNL’ cast members can’t do impressions anymore
The main cast consists largely of stand-up comedians and self-absorbed improvisers with middling to nonexistent acting chops. Trudging through the viscous swamp of impersonations, they give it the old college try, but performers like Michael Che, Leslie Jones and Pete Davidson can’t quite shed a comic’s cutesy self-awareness. That style can be pleasant for a minute on YouTube, but definitely not for eight in front of a live audience.
As a result, few of the players are gaining the affection of viewers. With all the cast comings and goings — 13 new featured players have been added since 2013, five of whom lasted only a single season — Studio 8H is practically a temp office.

Yeah, can't wait to see the ratings. I'm 55 years old and I never cared about seeing SNL as much in my life. Here's hoping that they embarrass him into some more stupidity. It's like GO TEAM. We'll see.

The New York Post doesn't like SNL. What a SHOCK.
Meanwhile SNL has been having their best ratings in years.

It's still yet to be confirmed, but it's believed Baldwin has signed on to play Trump for the rest of this season in one sketch a week.

I love the sketches written for Kate McKinnon's Kellyann Conway. The "Fatal Attraction" scenario was great, but I didn't feel like Beck Bennet was able to match McKinnon's commitment or intensity. ![]()

I thought the writing was weak, didn't much enjoy any of it except the motorized lectern.
