No need to go into details here.
I listen to SENSE AND SENSIBILITY a lot. Also, A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT.
Many scores with primary themes are a part of my list - primarily ENCHANTED APRIL.
I have worn out albums of Williams' scores - especially SUPERMAN.
I tend to respond to elements of many. Right now, what comes to mind is the climactic moments of THE AGONY AND THE ECSTACY score.
I guess, overall, I respond to certain composer's work - but in bits and pieces.
the mission - ennio morricone

If I listen to THE MISSION, I need to stop everything and just sit and listen to it.
And cry.

Jon Brion's score for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is so simple, and yet so effectively moving that I sometimes can't listen to it without wanting to cry.
I blubber every time I listen to the soundtrack from Sophie's Choice.
Amelie
Donnie Darko
To Kill a Mockingbird
Hans Zimmer's score to The Prince of Egypt....especially The Burning Bush.
Angels in America, and yes, Lord of the Rings
I agree with "Requiem for a Dream." Love it. And "Donnie Darko."

I got a lot of grief from my family/friends for watching Titanic a lot, but I loved it because of the music playing in the background. I love the "Glasgow Love Theme" from Love Actually, and really liked the score from "The Holiday."
The Hours
Amelie
The Little Mermaid
Sense and Sensibility
Breakfast at Tiffany's
Star Wars
Pirates of the Carribbean
Harry Potter
Lord of the Rings
The Prince of Tides by James Newton Howard is gorgeous.
