Sutton Foster, Sherie Rene Scott, and JLT for me.
Mostly Sutton though. Pretty much everything that she sings will work for my voice.

Um...I guess Audra McDonald...in a never really had voice lessons so I don't know what I'm doing kind of way...
I don't really sound like her but she's the only one I can think of with a voice that really borders on opera in the same way...I kind of copied her to learn to sing. That's a part of it too. I kind of wish I really sounded half like her though.

Posted: 2/20/06 at 9:16pmWell... I'm able to sing like Sutton a little, a little like Kerry Butler. When I overbelt I kinda sound like Idina and not in a good way. Thats why I'm trying not to do that anymore.
Am I cut out to spend my time this way?

In terms of me and singing anyway...I think...well she's not on Broadway but it's a very good comparison...I sing as well as Roseanne sang the national anthem.
