There is a visceral hate from all of my Republican friends about her.  I don't get it.  I hate GWB with a passion but it dosen't carry forward to his brother.  I think we can beat Trump or Cruz easy.  Bush or Rubio may beat her, this is where I pray PJ is the guru.  Go Bernie!  Good stuff Kraut.

Namo wrote something 3 weeks ago regarding the strange dislike for Clinton, where does it come from? Here's a perception I have, and definitely feel free to argue this.  If Clinton is the nominee, the motivation will be greater on the GOP side.  If Sanders is the nominee not so much.  Poor whites might start to think twice. Why do all of my GOP friends hate Clinton?  Because that's who they are.  Hope I'm wrong and Hilary can sweep to victory, but worried.

Something with Bernie is that most of his supporters are not actually registered democrats so they really can't be polled. So he might actually be leading. And come November a 4 million teenagers who will now be eligible to vote(I'll miss it by a month smh) will be reading Bernies tweets and will say to themselves "down with college tuition and I will be voting in order to make sure Bernie wins" also Bernie is an independent technically so he can run as an independent during the general election.

* HRC has considerable experience in statecraft

* HRC is a pragmatist

* HRC will be ready to lead

* HRC will avoid a few costly Obama mistakes including taking too long to appoint heads of key federal agencies

*HRC knows which battles to wage against the GOP in both chambers of Congress

*Optics are important…if ever the world needed to see a woman as head of the free world it is now with Western European capitals grappling with bands of thugs hardwired to deny women person-hood and determined to establish a universal caliphate based in Europe before the apocalypse

* There's now ample separation between Clinton 42 and Clinton 45

I'm not seeing 270 for Sanders/Warren?  That would be 2 ultra-liberal US Senators from N.E. states that are now solidly blue.  Regional biases are not to be discounted in a general election.  I still maintain that the general election is on Hillary's racquet, provided she gets the party nomination.  I envision her retaining the states carried by Obama/Biden 2x but she needs a solid running mate arguably with a military service record.  She'll have to defend Obama-Biden's foreign policy which GOP operatives increasingly view as impotent due to unbridled circumspection.

Once again, the NYT has ever so "suavemente and sutil" expressed their disdain for HRC. A twitter account linked to the NYT has called her the nation's "abuela"!

Bring on the "woman" card and "women's issues" again! How sexist and pandering can they be? With all the other upcoming important challenges and goals to be faced and met, it's no wonder this kind of sh*t happens. I guess they are trying to be like Trump and call out names, and make fun, just to chip away little by little any way they can try.

Every poll shows Sanders doing better in a general election match up than Clinton.

I'd love a Sanders/Warren ticket but don't think it will happen.. I don't think Warren is interested in being anyone's vice prez. And a moderate choice for VP would be a very bad idea.

"Every poll shows Sanders doing better in a general election match up than Clinton."

Eight years ago this time, every poll showed Hillary as both the presumptive party nominee and a highly competitive general election candidate.  I still stand behind Hillary with one proviso: indictment in, javero out.  The ball is in FBI Director James Comey's court.  I'd also argue that the fate of the general election rests in his hands as well.

Eight years ago this time I called the Obama upset but suggest that only email gate could derail HRC, not Sanders.

The GOP needs OH, VA, NC, FL, WI, and either CO or IA to get over the 270 hump.  The Dems need a televised Trump meltdown soon, email gate behind them one way or the other, and a good general election turnout.

NBC poll: Sanders ahead in New Hampshire and closing in on Clinton in Iowa

A new NBC/Marist poll, released Sunday, shows that Senator Bernie Sanders still leads Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire, and he is closing in on her in Iowa. More importantly, the poll shows that Sanders outperforms Clinton in hypothetical general-election matchups in these two presidential battleground states—something other polls have shown, too.

In New Hampshire, Sanders has the support of 50 percent of Democratic voters compared to Clinton’s 46 percent. This is within the margin of error. Previous polls have given him a larger margin, but this is the first time Sanders has hit 50 percent. It is not surprising the margin has tightened given the time Clinton spends in the Granite State. Also, she pulled out her secret weapon—Bill Clinton—recently.

In Iowa, Clinton holds just a three-point lead among likely voters over Sanders, 48 percent to 45 percent, while Martin O'Malley gets 5 percent. Clinton’s lead is within the margin of error for the first time. She has led by double digits since the campaign began last spring. With the caucuses just three weeks away, Sanders may be peaking at the right time. Hillary Clinton lost Iowa to Barack Obama in 2008 after leading in the polls. President Clinton has been campaigning in Iowa as well.

There is a message to Democratic voters in Iowa and New Hampshire in this poll regarding the issue of electability. Clinton supporters claim she is electable and Senator Sanders is not. In this anti-establishment election, that claim is not a given. This poll shows that Bernie Sanders may be more electable in these two key battleground states.

FBI Probes Hillary Emails for Corruption

The FBI has expanded its investigation into Hillary Clinton's private emails to look for evidence of public corruption, unnamed intelligence officials told Fox News. "The agents are investigating the possible intersection of Clinton Foundation donations, the dispensation of State Department contracts and whether regular processes were followed,"

And they will conclude, as they always do, that there was no wrongdoing.

That may look like a Daily Beast article, but click on the link and VOILA!

Read it at Fox News

Click on that link and the story comes down to:

"...three intelligence sources not authorized to speak on the record told Fox News."

So the FBI isn't expanding it's investigation because it was first reported on Fox News? Even though it's been reported everywhere else now? Here's another disturbing article from Mother Jones. Not sure if that makes the approved reading list lol.

Hillary Clinton Oversaw US Arms Deals to Clinton Foundation Donors

In 2011, the State Department cleared an enormous arms deal: Led by Boeing, a consortium of American defense contractors would deliver $29 billion worth of advanced fighter jets to Saudi Arabia, despite concerns over the kingdom's troublesome human rights record. In the years before Hillary Clinton became secretary of state, Saudi Arabia had contributed $10 million to the Clinton Foundation, and just two months before the jet deal was finalized, Boeing donated $900,000 to the Clinton Foundation, according to an International Business Timesinvestigation released Tuesday.....

MoveOn.org endorses Bernie Sanders for President.

The Top 5 Reasons MoveOn Members Voted to Endorse Bernie (with the Most Votes and Widest Margin in Our History)

With a record-setting 78.6 percent of 340,665 votes cast by the MoveOn membership, Senator Bernie Sanders has won MoveOn.org Political Action’s endorsement for president with the largest total and widest margin in MoveOn history.

MoveOn.org only endorses candidates based on votes by our members. Our only previous presidential endorsement during a Democratic primary was for Barack Obama, in early 2008. In 2004, no Democratic candidate reached the threshold for an endorsement.

1. BERNIE’S LIFELONG COMMITMENT TO STANDING UP TO CORPORATE AND 1% INTERESTS TO FIGHT FOR AN ECONOMY WHERE EVERYONE HAS A FAIR SHOT.

2. HE’S STANDING UP FOR JUSTICE FOR COMMUNITIES FACING OPPRESSION.

3. HE’LL SAY NO TO PERMANENT WAR.

4. ELECTABILITY: THIS ELECTION WILL HINGE ON TURNOUT, AND BERNIE IS INSPIRING AND MOBILIZING THE COMMUNITIES IT’LL TAKE TO WIN.

5. PUTTING MEMBERS IN THE DRIVER’S SEAT IS WHAT MOVEON DOES, AND A WHOPPING 79 PERCENT VOTED TO ENDORSE BERNIE.

More than 340,000 MoveOn members participated in our endorsement process. Sanders won with 267,750 votes, or 78.6 percent. “Fellow Democrat Hillary Clinton garnered 49,811 votes (14.6 percent). Martin O’Malley earned 2,949 votes (0.9 percent). There were also 20,155 MoveOn members, or 5.9 percent, who voted against MoveOn making an endorsement now.

Bernie’s vote total and percentage are MoveOn records—the best any presidential candidate has performed in our 17-year history.

In short, MoveOn members #FeelTheBern and are going to mobilize in a big way to turn out the voters Bernie needs to win in Iowa, New Hampshire, and other early primary states. Let’s demonstrate the impact of progressive people power. Click here to join our MoveOn for Bernie campaign.

I don't think that's true.

There's quite a few polls that indicate it is true.

More good news for Bernie today!

Poll: Sanders leads Clinton by 14 in New Hampshire

Bernie Sanders has soared to a 14-point lead over Hillary Clinton in the race for the Democratic nomination in New Hampshire, leading the former secretary of state in virtually every voting bloc, according to the results of the latest Monmouth University poll released Tuesday.

The Vermont senator earned 53 percent to Clinton's 39 percent, an increase of 8 points for Sanders since Monmouth's November poll and a decrease of 9 points for Clinton. Former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley earned 5 percent, with 2 percent saying they are undecided. In November, Clinton led 48 percent to 45 percent.

The results are largely in line with the margin suggested by a Fox News poll from New Hampshire released last Friday, in which Sanders held a 50 percent-to-37 percent advantage

Sanders now leads Clinton among women and among those 50 and older, two groups from which Clinton had drawn support in past polls. Among women, Sanders leads 50 percent to 44 percent, compared to two months ago when he trailed Clinton by 19 points (37 percent to 56 percent). He leads among voters aged 50 and older by the same margin after trailing Clinton by 18 points in November in that demographic (38 percent to 56 percent).

Regardless of whom they support, likely Democratic primary voters in New Hampshire also suggested that they would be more enthusiastic about Sanders as their party's nominee than with Clinton.

Nearly half — 48 percent — said they would feel enthusiastic if Sanders accepted the party's nomination this summer in Philadelphia, while 42 percent said they would be satisfied, 6 percent said they would be dissatisfied and just 2 percent said they would be upset. Meanwhile, just 36 percent said they would be enthusiastic if Clinton became the nominee, while 38 percent said they would be satisfied, 18 percent said they would be dissatisfied and 7 percent said they would be upset.
