I didn't see what you said at first, I was going to say Respect too.
Summer Lovin' and Love Shack. People, if you don't feel you are good enough to karaoke alone, that does not give you the right to sing either of those with your drunk friends!

centerfold gets used all the time, as well.
"This Will Be." EVERY romantic comedy these days uses it as the trailer song.

That song immediately makes me think of The Parent Trap.

All star definatly!
can it be recent songs?
I'm A Believer is NOT by Smash Mouth. It's by the Monkees.

Yes, but the Smash Mouth cover of the song is the version that's being too overplayed. That's what I meant. And the Smashmouth version is very annoying.

I know what you meant, I was being a total bitch.
Sorry.
But I agree about it being overdone.
"Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" by the Police. If I have to hear that in ONE more commercial (especially another trailer for a witch movie), I'm gonna go straight up!!

I hear a lot of YMCA.
American Pie...please let me slit my wrists. A group of people always insist on doing it whenever they decide to have kareoke in school for some special ocasion. o_0
Takin' Care of Business, Born to Be Wild, and Old Time Rock N' Roll are favorites among drunk young men who want to do karaoke, I've noticed.
