These are quite amazing and the songs in the movie have a different sound then the ones on the soundtrack. Like less 70's abba
14 New Film Clips and a Look Inside Universal's Mamma Mia!
I swear, any project Meryl touches turns to GOLD!!!!! Can't WAIT!!!!!!!!!!
WOW!!!
made me even MORE excited... if at all possible
Dominic Cooper is so hot. That is all.
Take a Chance on me is my favorite scene in the whole movie. Julie Walters is hysterical.
Before the last year or so, I never thought I'd see Meryl bouncing on a bed in Greece singing ABBA, but I can't wait!
She seems to act the hell out of the songs, and sounds quite good. Pierce, on the other hand, sounds like he's choking.
Amanda was very cute during Honey Honey Honey, and she has quite the voice.
Way to go Karen.
How come "Chiquitita" isn't listed on the soundtrack?
Anyhow...this movie looks like it's very well done and loads of fun. I'm very excited!
I listened to the soundtrack today in the car on the way to work and I forgot how fun the songs are to listen to. I'm pumped for this movie!

Chiquitta was cut from the film, along with The Name of the Game, I've heard. Both were filmed, I assume they'll be bonus features on the DVD.
Knowing Me Knowing You, Under Attack, and Thank You For the Music (I think there are 1 or 2 more, as well) were cut without being filmed. "Music," sung by Seyfried and a piano, appears during the final credits of the movie (along with the megamix) and is connected to the final track of the soundtrack. The megamix isn't, though.

OMG! I can't wait for this movie!
The way I heard it, "Chiquitita" is still included in the movie, however, the songs "Under Attack", "One of Us" and "Knowing Me, Knowing You" have been removed. Instead, "When All is Said and Done", from ABBA's final album, The Visitors, will be included in the film as a new song not present in the stage musical. "Thank You For the Music" will be included in the movie and played over the closing credits.
Ya Chiquitta is still in the movie it is just not on the album....same goes for I Do I Do I Do
chemengrgal has it right.
At least, as of the pre-screenings last week, "Chiquitita" is in the movie, and "Under Attack," "One Of Us," and "Knowing Me, Knowing You" have been cut. You will hardly miss them with all that's going on. "When All Is Said And Done" has also been added, but it's a lot slower than the original. However, as a huge fan of the original, I think it still sounds quite nice (though it would sound a lot nicer if Pierce wasn't singing).
Plus, "I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do" is hardly in the movie. It serves its purpose and then gets cut very short. So you wouldn't really want it on the CD anyway, trust me.
And I like these clips. They show you some great stuff, without giving too much away. I always hate when movies show the best parts in the trailer and then you have nowhere to go but down as you watch the whole thing.
I watched "The Winner Takes It All" and was blown away! Amazing! Meryl gave me chills.

That all too short Winner Takes It All clip is worth the price of admission. Talk about whetting your appetite. I am drooling in anticipation.
Agreed on "The Winner Takes It All" that looks like on hell of a scene. If I got chills from that tiny clip, I can only imagine what it will be like in the context of the film.
WOW! After seeing these clips I can't wait to buy the album next week. And Dominic is just
This just made my day! I love the clips and I love the soundtrack. I thought I wasn't going to like it but I do. It's great!
I may have to actually use one of my early Friday's to see this. I am SOOO excited.
I have a quick question, is there any way I can download the movie version of Chiquitita? It isn't on the soundtrack and I loved the clip!
