It really was a waste to have Lea Salonga on that Sesame Street float. All those characters never gave her a moment for even a mini solo part.
Sofia Vergara is INSPIRED. Hopefully it runs long enough, because she would eat that role up!

I didn’t hate the HK performance as much as I expected to based on reviews here, but like every other performance I’ve seen from the show, it left me feeling meh about the show.
It was cool seeing Hiltyand Simard introduce the performance & I thought Michelle was fine, but somehow when I saw H & S introduce, I thought wow they’re going to have to hurry to get out there only to realize that was all we were going to see. Still, this was my favorite of the three performances. If I was planning a trip to NYC, I’d probably see this.
I’m still waiting to see what everyone else sees in The Outsiders. Granted, I think I’ve only seen this and the Tony Award performance, but as someone from Oklahoma this also surprisingly leaves me feeling meh. Maybe it’s much better as a complete performance rather than select songs performed out of context?

The only reason I went to see The Outsiders was because it won the Tony, and I figured I had to see it. To my surprise, I loved it. I do not think it is a great show, but I was thoroughly entertained and really found myself caring about Pony Boy and his brothers. Brody Grant's understudy was in for the performance I saw, and I thought that he was outstanding in the role, so this is not a case where a specific performer makes or breaks a show. When you make it back, it is definitely something to consider.

Thanks Good to know.
And for those concerned Cynthia comment is going to encourage people to sing in the theater who otherwise wouldn’t, my inclination is that those who were going to sing were going to regardless of what Cynthia said and those who weren’t going to, still won’t. Case in point: saw the movie for a second time this afternoon and not a peep was heard.

The Outsiders did the best IMO and would pay to go see it off that performance.

Does anyone know why Outsiders and Hell's Kitchen featured live singing?
