Lincoln Center has announced its 2026-27 Broadway season at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre:
A first Broadway revival of A Few Good Men, starring Bradley Whitford and Tom Blyth, begins previews October 8 and opens on October 29, for a limited run through January 10.
A second Broadway revival of The Sound of Music, starring Jasmine Amy Rogers, begins previews March 23 and officially opens on April 15; the limited run concludes on July 18.

I think Dreamgirls is no longer happening this season…a lot of investors walked out of the last workshop including LaChanze

Jennifer Hudson joined as a producer, so I think it still happens. Hopefully, it's not that God-awful tour that was put up from 7-8 years ago.

Dolly: A True Original Musical, with a score by Dolly Parton, begins previews December 7 and opens January 19 at the St. James Theatre.

THE WARRIORS needs to be added to this list of new musicals. Opens this spring. And my bets? Look out for THE HEART to transfer after a buzzy run in La Jolla, with another Roundabout run scheduled Off-Bway this fall....and BEGIN AGAIN which garnered a lot of excitement after a very successful workshop in NYC a few months ago, now heading to The Old Globe this fall.
Lots of new musicals this season, actually!
