Yes, though idk if that would be this season. ATG is producing it so it’s safe to assume they feel it can scale up a lot for Broadway…unless they want to covert some other space to a nightclub?

Yeah, only place I can see working would be CITS. Maybe this spring, if JIT packs it up by then. I saw the show at the York years ago and loved it.

Who even cares? Honestly this Fall is looking really disappointing. I have tickets right now for In the Heights, Benjamin Button, Much Ado About Nothing, & A Few Good Men. Cats got stuffed in a bag with a bunch of bricks and thrown in the river. There's so little else that interests me, so finally this morning I paid $135 to United to change my flights & shorten my time in NYC this year. I still have space in my schedule for 3 more shows, and I will be going to DC to see Renèe Fleming.
Wanted? Galileo? Lost Boys? Schmigadoon? I couldn't give a schmit for any of them.

I had a little trouble filling an early December trip as well. Currently have:
Wed mat: 860
Wed eve: Lea Salonga at 54 Below
Thur mat: Inter Alia
Thur eve: Other Desert Cities
Fri eve: A Few Good Men
Sat mat: Imitation of Life at The Shed
Sat eve: Open
860 and Imitation of Life are just taking a flyer on unknown quantities that at least have solid people involved. Have one slot to fill Saturday evening. Maybe Wanted, maybe The Fantastiks (though they want $244 for the last row of the orchestra for that). I figure we can wait and see how early previews go on those, or maybe something else will pop up. But it is thin, especially on the musical side. Hard pass on Galileo and Dolly.
Normally, I take a fall trip in mid-to-late November, but we pushed to second week of December due to Lea Salonga ticket availability. That change is costing approximately $6 million extra in hotel rates. I really had no idea it was so wildly outlandish an increase for a more peak week. And not just in the theater district -- all over the city.

With Moulin Rouge closed, there's only 25 shows playing on Broadway this week. SCHOOL GIRLS... starts previews next week.

A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. Scott Rudin has announced two upcoming play revivals for the season:
Downstate begins previews October 17 and opens November 15 at the Booth Theatre.
Small Mouth Sounds, featuring Julia Roberts and Paul Rudd among others, begins previews February 18 and opens March 18 at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre.

It's on a global tour and just concluded a quick London stint last weekend. Reception was quite decent IIRC.

What’s going on with Damn Yankees? It’s been months since anything has been mentioned for this show… could the creatives/producers be rethinking coming in this season and delay like the Dreamgirls revival did? This season is already extremely heavy on the musical revivals:
The Rachel Zegler led Evita, LCT’s: The Sound of Music, The Full Monty, The Fantastiks, and possibly City Center’s: In The Heights… might be a wiser decision to postpone until next seaso, not to mention major new productions such as Paddington & Warriors opening up next spring too…?

I would see them coming to Broadway in Fall 2027 so that way they can rework on the book and everything since it was given lots of mixed reviews at A.R.T.
But if they intend to transfer in Spring 2027, then it needs a big night including the Tonys without lots of mixed to negative reviews from the major critics in order to be sustainable for open ended commercial run on Broadway. But with Paddington, Warriors, and more are opening in the same current season, I would see them to wait until the following Fall so that way they can work on the book and score that the regional critics pointed out.

BLACK SWAN would probably be wise to wait until 2027-28 so it's not going up against another "dark show," Warriors.
