Yeah, I don't get that either. Guess the Actors Fund gets paid directly from Telecharge this way?

She still has the ACL anniversary announcement on her IG. Ogunquit utilities understudies, so I'm hoping she'll be able to still do it. I just don't see how she'd have the time to rehearse whatever she's doing. Though I'd assume it's Music and the Mirror w/d'Amboise, Goldyn and Sarah Bowden. So she could leave it via videos w/Baayork while she's up in Maine.
EDITED TO ADD: Hurder posted more on her IG about both. She rehearsed today for ACL w/Baayork and did a photoshoot as well.
Robyn just posted insta stories with Baayork and Dana Moore doing a NYT piece for the 50th anniversary concert, so she's very much still attached.
there's 8 seats left if you have an extra $5,000 or $10,000 available.
I wasn't available to purchase tickets yesterday, but just logged in and found a single ticket in the orchestra. I should play the lottery today!
Managed to secure a pair of tickets last Monday but am wondering if has anyone on this board actually received tickets from Telecharge yet? Supposedly tickets were to be mailed out within 5 days of purchase. Thanks in advance!

I haven’t, but with the holiday weekend, I’m going to give it a few more days before I reach out.
I’m just grateful they offered a digital ticket option. I still have PTSD from the ticket debacle at the SPRING AWAKENING Reunion.
When do the tickets for the NYPL discussion become available to reserve?
Thank you! I figured the holiday weekend might have factored into the delay but am probably just being paranoid due to the hassle just to obtain tickets in the first place:))

Show Boat will be 100 in December 2027. I would much rather look forward to a world class production of that than yet another retread of ACL, which I have admittedly NEVER thought was an all-time great musical. In 1975, I was appalled that Chicago got lost in the tsunami caused by ACL. I have always thought it was a much better show.
But, back to Show Boat, imagine the Harold Prince version (or something close to it) playing in the Beaumont.
I've probably said this in every thread mentioning Show Boat ever, so apologies, but I am dying for a big, lush LCT revival starring Amber Gray. She is the only choice in my mind for Julie.

i took it as 5 business days, so considering the holiday weekend, we should get them tomorrow or Tuesday.
Heads up - free tickets for the 7/25 3pm panel discussion at NYPL are available NOW on Eventbrite.

I wish I could make this.
I just received my tickets via Telecharge. Hopefully everyone else as well.

After this event, there will be an ACL flash mob outside of Lincoln Center around 5pm. Consisting of any alumni from the original Broadway run, the revival or any national or international tour.

Any chance of the Shubert event being filmed?
Four Cassies Reflect on the Role
My 50TH year anniversary A CHORUS LINE story...i was in the audience the week of the TONYS, 1976 to see ACL for the very first time...what a thrill it was, especially that week...but the real story is that the night of the TONYS award show, a very good friend of mine and i went to watch the TONYS on a tv at THE PUBLIC THEATRE, with many of the backstage crew who helped make that show such a hit when it played THE PUBLIC...that was an amazing crowd to be watching ACL win all its' awards...and something i have never forgotten either...

I dress pretty casually when I see shows...but this is the first "event" I'm ever attending. How dressed up are we expected to be? Do we need to be there early? Just how star studded is this going to be? Sorry to sound like a newb, I just want to make sure I'm prepared since I'm going solo.

Hell's Kitchen changed their schedule this week so ACL50 would have the Shubert all day on Sunday. They're doing a dry tech run Sunday before the 7:30pm performance. I'm planning to get into NYC by 2pm just to take in whatever else might be going on that day around the Shubert.
Will this be a full out one night performance of the show? Or a highlights type thing?

The show's IG page has them rehearsing all of the choreography. I'd assume some of the singing parts will have the swap out with the originals or a guest appearance. I think Jessica Vosk, Krysta Rodriguez and Leigh Zimmerman are doing "At the Ballet".
I wish they’d at least tell us what exactly it will be. The full show? Stories and performances? It doesn’t matter either way, but for all that money at least tell us. Feels a bit like we’ll all be going to one of AMC’s mystery movies.
