If they build this casino/hotel(?) in times square they should be required to build a theatre inside similar to the requirement when they built the Marriott

For what reason? What theatre is being removed for the casino to be built?

Maybe the landlords can recruit the Roth’s? Convince Trump to come out against the casino, he hates Ceasars and Jay Z. Mayor Adams will do whatever Trump says.

And this is interesting. Venture Capital has been pouring millions into online gambling which explains New York State's tax giveaway to online gambling platforms. Since these are taxes that are coming out of all of our pockets shouldn't the public have a right to know the specifics of this data?

I don't want to hijack this thread, but if the subject of gambling, and its potential impacts on society are of interest to you, I'd love it if you'd hop over to the Off-Topic Board and comment on what Disney and ESPN are up to...

Many experts also note that the rapid growth of the casino industry demonstrates how digital entertainment is becoming a central part of investment strategies. A good example is https://casinosfest.com/fr/, which brings together reviews of Canada's top platforms. The appeal of online casinos lies not only in their accessibility, but also in their ability to attract a global audience, making them highly profitable. This dynamic environment continues to change the way investors assess risk and long-term potential.

I'm not sure a casino is needed here. Times Square is already special because of its theatres and Broadway atmosphere.

A weird spot for this museum. A good idea - but it's baiting liberal minded people into the casino. Times Square doesn't need a casino. NYC could use a Civil Rights museum, sure, but not in times square. Sorry, good try. Do they think liberal New Yorkers are this gullible?
Maybe put a THEATER in your casino in the THEATER DISTRICT first - and also put money into a museum ?? Lame attempt Ceasears.

For the 25th time, that museum is not happening. The administration is targeting the f*cking Smithsonian for being “too woke” and going against their values.
As if they’re going to tolerate a Civil Rights Museum being built. The White House posted an article titled “Trump is right about the Smithsonian” a week ago, distorting and cherry picking displays and exhibits. Yet we’re supposed to believe this proposed museum will ever see the light of day in that loser’s hometown. Give me a break.

The casino would technically have a theater- the Minskoff. There's really no place for another theater on the property.

Listen, not every nut on this board is the same 3 people. Can you just focus on what people are actually saying or just block them instead of tangenting for no reason and no relevance to what what the thread is about. If you wanna fight about Sutton as a person, their DMs are right there. Have fun.

If they open a casino, it would close up shop in months. Nobody would go to it. Thats the free market. Ceasars is probably more interested in the hotel

I'd say you're right because the thing they don't want... is a casino. If you're sitting here having to make all these "deals" with the community its because the community does not want your product. It's just pandering and something they'd never see out after they'd be given approval because none of those projects are what needs approval.

Why are they so keen on a casino anyway? It just shows how out of touch they are, they really think it would be this huge cash cow. These people don’t even live in New York, they’re all west coast based. They could focus on just the hotel part and probably get it approved easy

Are you kidding me? Turning this into a right left thing is nonsense. We’ve seen all sorts of wholesome conservatives against casinos before. I understand you’re more libertarian, but that is not widespread in the GOP.
