According to the casting notice they start rehearsals on Monday, so maybe an announcement will coincide with start of rehearsals?

Galloway is a solid supporting role, but I doubt it's the kind of part that a recent Best Actress Oscar winner would choose for her Broadway debut.

It is very late for LCT to not have announced the full cast. Could there be production and casting issues related to director rumors?

You'll be fine - I have no rumors to spread. But the business in general and presumably LCT, would be under a rock to have not heard and thought things could be related at this point.
Don't know why LCT wouldn't have announced the cast by now - I'm curious to see who is in it as I'm only familiar with Whitford. Interested if Sorkin will hold up all these years later when his style has been replicated many times since.

Look at the timelines for casting announcements for LCT play productions recently:
Whoopi Monologue's full cast was announced 6/16, first preview was 7/7.
Kyoto, full cast announced 8/7, first preview of 10/8
Five Models in Ruins, production and cast announced 2/25, first preview 4/19
Ghosts, cast announced 1/6, first preview 2/13
Blood Quilt, cast announced 9/12/24, first preview 10/30/24
McNeal, cast announced 7/29/24, first preview 9/5/24
This production is not an outlier in its announcement timeline so there's no need to basely suggest behind the scenes issues.

This previews in 5 weeks. My point exactly. The cast should be announced now - it is soon an outlier.
The only comparable would be the Beaumont's McNeal. If, in line with previous announcements in that space, it would be this coming early this next week.
Again, there have been rumblings about the shows' leadership & LCTs choices here - trust I'm not the only person wondering or living under a rock. (notice I do not indulge rumors until they are fact - thus not mentioning specifics.).

Rehearsals start next week. It's not uncommon at all for a show to announce full casting on the first day of rehearsal.

Very true. They begin Monday. Hoping for an announcement in a few days.
Enjoy Sorkin -- although wish LCT would have commissioned NEW Sorkin rather than ANOTHER easy and safe revival - even if Arden/Lafferty opt for their usual decadence. They had made strides into forward-thinking in recent year. Appears LCT's future is keeping theater in the past. Probably the way of DeBessonet's uncreative tenure unfortunately.

Mikey playing Demi Moore's part after controversially beating Demi for the Oscar. That would be great!

Still no announcement? It’s strange how late they are waiting to announce the rest of the cast. It’s my favorite play and the show I’m most excited for this season. Soooo curious on who they are gonna get especially with Arden at the helm. I haven’t even heard any rumors

I’m honestly glad they went with a group of working New York actors instead of stuffing it unnecessarily with more celebrities. Also, is this Krysta’s first straight play on Broadway?
