A lot of people like Audra’s Rose. GREAT! At the same time, a lot of people had a very tepid response to her performance. The production itself was widely regarded as just fine in amongst industry people. So a lot of rewriting history going on with this response to Nicole’s clearly deserved win."
How much of "make christianity great again" is refuted?

Good God, go and find some grass to touch.

It's a little worrying that sales are slowing down, no Tony wins, Audra missing performances. A large theatre to fill. I wonder what their next steps should be....they are currently selling till October. It's hard to imagine it could last that long. Maybe a close in late July to go out with a bang or a little later if they want to milk it more?

What's your point? Last Sunday was the Tony awards. Today she has a stomach virus? What do you want her to do, go on stage sick?

Unable to do evidence based reasoning?

I adore GYPSY and was stoked to hear Audra was going to play Mama Rose, but like most, she was terribly miscast and the face they didn't change the music enough to show off her true talent makes it all more noticeable. She sounds like she's trying really hard to be a Mama Rose without actually being Mama Rose. I do hope they find someone with the actual Mama Rose range for the national tour. Audra is amazing, but this was not for her.

Saw this on Sunday afternoon and loved it. Wasn't totally blown away till Rose's Turn and wow. I can't add anything that hasn't already been said, but what an overwhelming moment in theater to experience live. Also sat right in front of Josh Groban and said a brief hello at intermission and he was totally great.

Aw, flew across the country to catch Audra before she goes on vacation and she called out today anyway. Fingers crossed that Danny Burstein is in at least.

Tryphena is spectacular. I'm sure that doesn't make you feel better, having come 3000 miles, but you'll enjoy her performance.

Get a refund at the box office, and go across the street, or any of the other offerings in town. Too many options to be too disappointed, and Burstein is not going to make it feel worth it.

Just wanted to say I saw this on my last trip and really loved Audra’s performance. I would recommend seeing this while you can. Her rose’s turn was really compelling.

It's really hard for me to believe that the way she's singing the score is not causing vocal damage.

They should have had an alternate sing one night. It's better than her trying to soldier through 8 shows a week and then calling out a bunch.

She’s been out nine times since May 1st. That’s really not a crazy amount all things considered.
Looking forward to reports on Montego Glover this week.

9 times in 2 months is approximately once per week. That's not great in such a star-driven vehicle.
