Anyone from the Gyllengaard family (Peter, Jake, Maggie) would make me happy.

He's not really an actor but I think Conan O'Brien would be incredible on Broadway- I read he used to tap dance. And he has an extraordinary singing voice. Conan could play Lumiere in B&tB, the wizard in Wicked, Bert in Mary Poppins, all really well. They could just air repeats of his show on TV for a while = )

Hugh Laurie, for sure, but he's committed for 6 more years of HOUSE so I'm not sure how he'd fit it in his schedule.
I'd like to see Lauren Graham in something comedic.
Renee Zellweger.
Nicole Kidman.
Audrey Tatou.
Tom Hanks.
Ewan McGregor.

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

"I second Gerard Butler. Clive Owen would also be great!"
This would make me want to die! He can not SING! He sucked in Phantom!
Christina Agulera *sp as ROXIE if they feel a constant need to add celebrities, then at least they should be good performers.
Some opinions scare me..... when is K Fed going to be mentioned? I would not be shocked

I love how half of the of the actors people are suggesting have actually aready BEEN on Braodway/West End. RESEARCH, people! Anyway...
Hugh Laurie said on Jay Leno that he's done enough theater before to know he doesn't want to do a lot of theater, so I guess he's out.
I second Christina Aguilara (*sp?)and Angelica Huston. Emmy Rossum should go no where near Broadway, please, for the sake of the children....

He's not truly an "actor" per-say but I'd love to see Josh Groban do something on Broadway, that be fab.

"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

Gyllengaard?
is that a joke?
its gyllenhaal for jake and maggie, and sarsgaard for peter.
and yes they'd all be good, i bet - they're incredible actors with v brave choices.
i'm gonna say west end wishes for me as i have never got to broadway, but am slightly obsessed with alan tudyk, matthew perry, bradley whitford at the moment, so they can feel free to pop over
