Dude with Drew Sarich avatar, Drew Sarich WAS on Broadway. He was Armand in the Broadway musical, Lestat. It lasted 39 performances.

John Dye ('Touched By An Angel'). No one has heard nothing about this guy since the show ended it's series in 2003.

Beyonce. Honestly, I think she has incredible vocal talent, she's very sincery and real. Her stage presence is incredible, and her down-to-earth personality will allow for her mind to be in the show, and not in her fandom.
On an VH1 interview she said her ultimate dream is to win a Grammy, Oscar and a Tony. She's got a Grammy. An Oscar could be on the way. The Tony is the reach. Even if it's in a straight play, I'm sure she could get it.
And if you disagree or say "pop stars" shouldn't be allowed near a stage, I will disagree to you. I think it takes a lot of dignaty for a "star" to step out of their comfort zone, and in many cases it's a great transformation for them. They'll do a heck of a lot better than most people on this board.

I'll join the choir for Emma Thomspon.
I'd also love for Mary-Louise Parker to return to the Broadway stage. I know she's busy with "Weeds" and such but oh, one can wish.

A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

Alex Borstein
"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

I've never seen Carol Burnett live and would love to see (and stage door) her in something that would allow her to use her comic gifts. I also think it would be cool if Madonna and La Streisand came back to Broadway to get a chance to see them in a smaller house where they couldn't charge outrageous prices for a ticket. But that isn't going to happen.

Elizabeth Marvel. Actually, she has been on Broadway a couple of times, but she needs a star vehicle. She really is the Tallulah Bankhead of our time, IMO.
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”

There aren't a lot of shows that I'd want to see Madonna do, but I think she'd probably do well in Chicago.

(um, he needs to do fiyero, simply because that would be the hottest thing EVER to happen in wicked... sigh... and um, that voice singing ALAYM? kill me now!
but then he can do something else... because fiyero isn't exactly the greeatest part on broadway- so I'd like to see him do something a little more fullfilling too!)

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.
