Rupert Everett - So talented and easy on the eyes!
LaVieHilary, I wish Megan would come back to B'way too but...after Will and Grace is over she's going to have her own talk show so I think it'll be awhile before she comes back.
munkustrap178, you beat me to Julianne Moore. She's my first choice and I adore her but she has said she would not come back to the stage (anytime soon anyway) because the schedule is so tough and she wants to spend time with her kids.
Same goes for Nicole Kidman.
YOUR MOM!
But seriously i guess... Liam Nesion as Richard III
Ian McKellen

OMG! Johnny Depp on bway would rock! If they ever make a show out of crybaby (is it happening?)then he should play Uncle Velvetear, it would be so funny!
Vincent D'Onofrio - Hell yeah. Love that guy.
Jack Black would be cool too!
"If we don't live happily ever after at least we survive until the end of the week!" -Kermit the frog "I need the money... it costs a lot to look this cheap!" -Dolly P. "Oh please, Over at 'Gypsy' Patti LuPone hasn't even alienated her first daughter yet!" Mary Testa in "Xanadu" "...Like a drunk Chita Rivera!" Robin de Jesus in "In the Heights"
"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofu
I'm completely satisfied with the talent we have on Broadway. The actors who commit themselves to theater. Not to mention the up and coming talent we have, people that want to do theater.
We don't need movie stars, thank you very much.
Michael Douglas...now that's a joke!

She's at BAM now doing Hedda Gabler, and she would be a revelation on Broadway!!
Michael Caine.
Totally 2nd Johnny Depp, that man is a force of nature.
Jennifer Simard.
She is one of the funniest and most talented women today.
I would love to see her in a Broadway show.
She has talent with a capital T!
Elijah Wood as Mark Cohen.

definitly Johnny Depp.
Ewan Mcgregor (he's in London doing Guys&Dolls now)
Nicole Kidman.
Nate Richert (Harvey from Sabrina The Teenage Witch)
He currently plays in a duo called C Duck & Nate. So he can sing. And on hi sbio it says he's had extensive jazz and tap training. (anyone who's an avid Sabrina fan would have seen him tap, and he's GOOD.)

i would love to see heath ledger and jake gyllenhaal on broadway. either in a show together or separately. they blew me away in bbm. they would be incredible to see live on stage.
Actually--and this just came to me--I would LOVE to see Jennifer Saunders on Broadway!
I second Gerard Butler. Clive Owen would also be great! :)
Paul Giamatti has done lots of theatre in NYC, including Broadway (ARCADIA at Licoln Center, ICEMAN COMETH w/Spacey, etc). He's terrific on stage.
My #1 choice is Julianne Moore. I think she'd be an incredible Blanche in STREETCAR.
I'd also love to see Rachel Weisz return to the stage.

Spacey won a Tony as Hickey in ICEMAN COMETH a few seasons ago and is currently running the Old Vic in London and appears on stage occasionally in their productions. He'll be back on Broadway sooner or later.
Zach Braff started his career at The Public Theatre doing Shakespeare (George Wolfe personally gave him his Equity card) and after The Public Sings concert said that he would love to come back there sometime soon and do a play.
David Schwimmer is co-starring in the new production of The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial that previews on Broadway in a few weeks.
