I want an Aida revival so bad...I couldn't stand the non-equity tour...Agree with Allentown2 on WSS and SP for sure

I think that we desperately need a "Into the Woods" revival! I mean, other Sondheim musicals have made revivals; "Sweeney Todd" and "Company"! I also think that "Miss Saigon" needs to be revived as well.
I am a bagel on a plateful of onion rolls. If you know what I'm talking about, good. If you don't, you're on your own!

All of these shows that people are mentioning have not been closed nearly long enough to merit a revival (Besides South Pacific and West Side Story). Let's let some new stuff come in.

Me too! I was so excited for Princess Bride; it's one of my all-time favorite movies! I hope they can work things out...either that, or they'll just have to put another one of my favorite movies on Broadway...Labrynth!

i think another "office" musical could be cute. something sort of like H2$ only they could incorporate some gay office workers or somesuch?
but blah: they're doing that with 9 to 5 so maybe it'd be too much on broadway right now...
another idea i've thrown around for a new musical would be From The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. i think this could actually be done really well (and make a lot of money).

I wouldn't mind seeing a revival of The Frogs or of First Lady Suite, if either were possible.

i love the Forbidden Broadway skit where Julie Andrews sings about how there used to be fresh new musicals on Broadway and now everything you see coming up is EVERYTHING you've seen before. very funny
